what is your opinion of islam

i'm a Muslim who wonders what you guys think of my religion.

Ill admit Im not educated in the subject so i cant form a proper opinion on the subject.

Most of Muslims are cool.

I feel the same way about Islam that I do every religion...it's fine.  

So, how's the jihad thing going?

I think of it like any other religion:
"It's fine for you to believe in whatever you chose, but don't try to force it upon me."

i dont like the idea of submitting to a being that most likely doesnt exist (although im perfectly fine with people making their own decisions to follow any faith they wish)
 
aside from that, i just really dislike that, same with christianity, you claim a monopoly on the truth (i find this ridiculous and dangerous)

I don't much like that certain crazy and violent slice of Islam that blows up buildings, plants roadside bombs and beheads people, but I'm not stupid enough to think all Muslims are like that. Personally, I don't have anything against any religion as long as they don't want to kill me. They can want to convert me if they want (they'll fail), and they can even believe all sorts of strange things. I don't much care one way or the other. Whatever floats your boat, just so long as you remember that it's your boat, not mine.

I am fine with all religions.  Islam as with all religions it has some extremists that tend to ruin the image to some.

Nah but seriously I don't really care about it to be honest. Like most religions I'm rather indifferent towards it.

I have no problems with the Muslim faith, and most Muslim people I have met are some of the coolest people I've ever known.  What I have a problem with is the extremists who use their religion as an excuse (whether christian, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist or whatever) for murder and terrorism.   I have no problem with any religion, as long as you don't try to push it on me, or if it involves hurting other people.... unless its satanic, cause that stuff is cool  j/k.
