Yeah, he said "I am half Egyptian American"...that's an oxymoron. It bugs me in the same way that people who answer the ethnicity question with "I'm American." American isn't an ethnicity!

Eh, I would probably throw you in the middle eastern category. I mean I am not sure what you look like, but I tend to throw europeans into the white category... I mean even a lot of russians are hard to throw into the "white" category.

Not necessarily. This is how dictionary.com defines the word "ethnic":
"pertaining to or characteristic of a people, esp. a group (ethnic group) sharing a common and distinctive culture, religion, language, or the like."
