Right now I'm going to say Time by The Deli Creeps, one of the most unknown yet deep and emotional songs I have ever heard and can relate to pretty much anyone.
What song can you relate to most?
Here's a song I hugely related to during a rough time for me emotionally, I still get chills whenever I hear the song:
This, because I don't know what the hell these Japanese dudes are saying, and half the time I don't even know what's going on in my own head. (And the song is kick ass.)
Ehhhh, I usually avoid these things but I'd have to say Goodbye to Romance by Ozzy Osbourne

Despite my usual affliction with Heavy Metal, I would strongly suggest people listen to this (Whether you dislike the genre or not) given that it's actually more of a pop song.

"I really loved that song when I listened to Ozzy a lot, very good song.
A lot of songs. At the moment? I wouldn't know where to start...I guess "Oh, Pretty Woman" by Roy Orbison (especially this live 1964 performance...I don't know, there's just something about it...)...to name one (at the top of my head, too). Just about any worship (preferrably Contemp. Christian) song, too. Ha, if I named each and every song, I'd be here for hours typing away. If there's a character cap, I'd hit it for sure. Music is beautiful.
I don't listen to music to find meaning in the lyrics and how it could possibly relate to me. I just enjoy the music.

" @CL60 said:So when I listen to Apeman on the Moon by The Lillingtons, I should be thinking of how launching an Apeman into space relates to my personal life? Yeah, ok." @PercyChuggs said:Grats to the both of you at missing one of the most important points of music. " @CL60 said:Not really. Just because most music doesn't hit me in a personal way doesn't mean I'm missing out...I enjoy music for what it is and I don't use it as a way to try and better my life, because in my opinion it can't. The only way I could actually feel music is music that I wrote myself. Not something somebody else did." @PercyChuggs said:Grats to the both of you at missing one of the most important points of music. " @PercyChuggs:I didn't write any of those songs. Those songs are not about me. They are about other people. People I don't give a shit about, since I don't know them. Music can be enjoyed any fucking way the listener chooses. And my musical tastes are just fine thank you. I would love to know what you listen to that is so so "deep" and "powerful" that listening to it is like a religious or sexual experience. If you dont have a single song in your collection that can inspire thought or feeling to a greater degree than "Apeman on the Moon", well you are missing out on a world full or original and insighful music. I would suggest you expand your tastes in music."
" @CL60:What are you even talking about? I like music..but why relate myself too it in any way shape or form? How am I missing anything in that? I don't relate to others music, I enjoy deep songs because they are deep and have a meaning. But that doesn't mean I'm missing shit all if I can't connect with them. I make my own music with my own thoughts, that's what I do to express my own deep meaning, not look for other peoples deep songs to relate myself too.Fantasic. May I ask you what exactly you think Music is? and perhaps ask you why you feel that a song that is deep has to "try and better my life"?"
I'm not going to relate music to my life because I feel the need too because apparently "I'm missing something" I listen to other songs because I enjoy them and it just makes them better if they have an actual meaning because usually you can tell who has passion for what they do and who doesn't.
Point being, I don't feel the need at all to relate myself with anything.

" @CL60:I don't think I did, I just think you don't understand that people don't have to think the same way about music in order to get enjoyment from it.I think you missed the point by a mile or so, but thats fine. You dont need to agree with me or anyone else. Thats the great thing about life."
I think we all get what you are trying to say. Forgive me CL60 for speaking for you, but personally, I can easily make the connection between certain songs and my life. I'd rather not waste my time doing that and enjoy my music as an aural experience... not as an interpretive one.
Bear with me, my browser is being a bitch. I cant quote or reply.
Green Day-21 Guns
because my mom has 21 guns.I dont know why,but hes a alchoholic.
It really depends on what is going on in my life at the time. Sometimes, I'll be going through something and a specific song will encapsulate my whole feelings for the experience. Other times, most of the time, it's more like this...
