I use Microsoft Security Essentials, I was just curious about everyone else.
What Virus Protection do you use?
" @ajamafalous said:I don't feel the need. Actually just ran a scan with MBAM last week (dad's computer got a virus, had to remove it for him so I had MBAM laying around) and had no infections." None. "Jesus, why don't you use anything? "
" @Gamer_152 said:Damn Macs.." AVG. I'm surprised three people have already posted in this thread saying they don't use any virus protection at all. "On a mac. "
Avast for my virus protection needs. Along with some spyware thing I run once in a while and CCleaner for well, the crap I need deleted.
" @Cube said:I'm actually running Windows 7. Like others have said, it's pretty easy to avoid viruses as long as you watch what you're doing." @Gamer_152 said:Damn Macs.. "" AVG. Kaspersky and I hate it so much. It constantly tells me gamenamegoeshere.exe is a virus and won't let me run a game the first time I launch it. Ugh.
I'm on a Mac so i'm better than all of you and don't need any cause I can't get them.
Vipre Antivirus Software and Malwarebytes are a pretty decent combination. Vipre's about 30 bucks a year, and Malwarebytes is free for all it's worth. I'm not one to dish out loads on software, but both of those earn my vote. Check it out; the ratings will probably blow you away (They do actual tests against hundreds of thousands of viruses each year, and see who comes out on top).
Used to use AVG but went to McAfee just because I wanted a firewall and didn't want to pay AVG through there website.
