Hi all, I'm keen to find out what cartoons and kids TV shows Giant Bomb's members were raised on. Take yourselves down a merry memory lane, do post videos, be them clips or intros, and if you wish, a brief commentary on why you love em.

Just a few here from me to get the thread going

In no particular order;

Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds

Awesome intro music, so awesome my two year old neice loves it now  :D

Fraggle Rock

I absolutely adored this show!, I really believed that such places existed and that all you had to do was to delve into holes to find them.

Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors

I loved this rousing intro.  I remember it having really great characters and a compelling story. The Lightening League were awesome. I would get real happy if this was ever made into videogame that's for sure.

Ulysse 31

It featured a lol worthy intro song

I have a load more to ply into this thread, but lets see what you have...

Pretty much same for me. I never got see many episodes of Mike, Iu & Og but I loved the ones I did see.

To add some others: Ed, Edd & Eddy, Cow & Chicken, Scooby Doo, Animaniacs, Loony Toons, Tiny Toons, Freakazoid, X-Men, Spider-man, Batman: The Animated Series, etc.

He-man, GI joe and looney toons. It explains my hyper aggression and need to beat up freaks with giant acme brand mallets. Not really.

Being a kid in the 70s, I watched a lot of cartoons; Tom and Jerry, The Jetsons, Popeye, Scooby Doo, Yogi Bear, The Flinstones and any Disney cartoon. What I really liked were the old sitcoms in syndication like Gilligan's Island, I Dream of Jenny and The Andy Griffith Show. My prime time favorites were; The Muppet Show, The Carol Burnette Show, The Brady Bunch and The Partridge Family.

There are only two answers that stand above all others.

Dexter's Lab. Hey Arnold. That's the cream of the crop.

I agreeentirely, Rugrats is awesome, I love how it appeals to both kids and adults.

I heart Reptar
I heart Reptar

The Batman Animated Series
is excellent, I love the art style and the quality of animation, I found it to be on par with what Japan was producing at the time.

I also love Rugrats, I remember when I was about 7 , my parents were going through a divorce, and obviously, it was kinda stressful for me, I remember one of the Rugrats characters parents got divorced. I didn't feel so alone.

Let's see... some TMNT, some Inspector Gadget, a bit of You Can't Do That on Television, and some old-fashioned Looney Tunes.  Basically, anything from the 80s and early 90s.

Stuff like Looney Tunes, and sadly, the pokemon anime. Even though its a bit more tolerable than the rest of shows 4kids dub, but its still awful.

Oh, and Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. I loved it.

I Dream of Jeanie, Happy Days, Rocko's Modern Life, Animaniacs, Tiny Toons, Freakazoid, David the Gnome, Coneheads (the movie, and I list this because I watched it soooo many times), Angry Beavers, Hey Arnold!, Kablam!, Super Mario Brothers Super Show, Samurai Pizza Cats, Tale Spin, Disney's Gummy Bears, Jim Henson's Muppet Babies, Pee-Wee's Playhouse, Garfield and Friends, Bobby's World, and Eek! The Cat.

That's all my basics...I think.

Pretty much eveything he said,  but switch Sanford and Son,  All In the Family, and The Jeffersons for Andy Griffith, Carol Burnette and The Partridge Family.  Also add Johnny Quest,  The Hulk,  Happy Days, and Land of the Lost.

A little bit later I traded them in for GI-Joe, Transformers, Masters of the Universe (He-Man), The A-Team, and Knight Rider.  Basically stuff  from the late 70's to the 80's. I'm sure some of these earlier shows were repeats, and I was catching them the second time around.

Gosh I watched way too much tv as a kid. But I will mention two that really stick out to me:

Great Space Coaster - A completely trippy show with puppets. Some of yall may remember Gary:

I also watched a ton of Pinwheel, which was shown like 5 hours a day back when Nickelodeon started. It was another variety show, with puppets that also showed cartoon shorts. This is the intro to one of my favorite shorts....music soooo catchy....stuck in head..aaaaa!

Darkwing Duck

Donkey Kong Country

Samurai Pizza Cats was my first Anime show. My taste has matured since then...

Cybersix was pretty awesome too.

I also enjoyed many of the cartoons everyone else has posted like:
The Tick
Animaniacs
The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog
X-men
Spider-man the Animated Series
Ducktales (the intro will never leave you! Whether you like it or not!)
Reboot
Transformers
And many more I have likely forgotten about.

Animaniacs
Power Rangers
X-Men
Spider Man
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Sesame Street
Barney
Reboot
Transformers
Courage the Cowardly Dog
Digimon
Pokemon
Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century (or whatever that shit was)
Dragon Ball Z
Yu Yu Hakusho
Doug
That Nickolodeon Eeek Monsters! show or whatever.
Are You Afraid Of The Dark?
Alex Mac (or whatever the mutant girl show was called)
CatDog
Ed, Edd, and Eddy
Invader Zim
Dexter's Lab
Scooby Doo
Freekazoid
Batman Beyond
He Man
Hey Arnold!
Rocko's Modern Life
Rugrats
Angry Beavers
Kablam!
Gargoyles
Captain Planet
Smurfs
Keenan and Kel
The Wild Thornberries

And there were definitely more.

I ripped a lot of shit off of other people's lists simply because I avidly watched every single one of these shows + ones I still can't remember when I was younger (ages 3-10, at least). Man I was a junkie.

My God, I can list off a TON of different shit, most of which you fools wouldn't even know, and a lot of shit that you do know:

Bravestarr
M.A.S.K.
Pirates of Dark Water
Hey Dude!
Salute Your Shorts
You Can't Do That on Television
The Tick
Rocko's Modern Life
Rugrats
Doug
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Biker Mice from Mars
Tiny Toon Adventures
Animaniacs
Tom and Jerry
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (only the original series is acceptable, with Jason, Billy, Kimberly, Tanya, Zack, and Tommy)

...and then far too many more for me to be able to remember.

There's also a TON of different Looney Tunes cartoons thrown in there.

*EDIT*  I ALMOST FORGOT ALL THE SWEET NICKELODEON GAME SHOWS!!!

Legends of the Hidden Temple
Guts
Double Dare

....man, I miss all this shit!!!

And looking through everyone elses' lists, there are SOOOOOO many that I've missed.
