There is plently of wealth around right now, whilst America will likely have slow down to pay it debts real wealth is quite plentiful

The only thing that would lead to a complete global stock market collapse would be if the global economy went into a huge recession, and we're talking HUGE - Inflation rates of 100%+. There is too much money in the developed world at the moment to lead to a huge stock market collapse. The only way it would happen is if money was to be devalued through extremely high inflation rates, and that isn't going to happen. Inflation isn't going to get anywhere near high enough to see any major incident that you're talking about.
