I'm looking for some good movies to watch, but I can't think of any that I haven't already seen. So lets post some that we think most other people on this site haven't heard of. I'll start

I don't know how popular The Boondock Saints is, but I love that movie. The sequel recently came out in theaters.
I'm fond of the movie X, an anime movie based on the manga of the same name. It was actually made well before the manga was finished (actually, the manga is on an extended hiatus due to an argument with its publisher), and so it was adapted into what amounts to a millennial apocalypse action movie that can best be described as blood and sakura blossoms everywhere. The plot is brainless and most of the characters are paper thin, but the action is well done and the movie is in general just very pretty to watch. Though I do recommend watching the Japanese language version with subtitles. The English dub is grade Z.

k these two are on my list now as well XD
V for Vendetta,The flat out worst movie ever made.
I was gonna post some really snobby stuff that I love that no one has seen, but this thread doesn't seem to be evolving into a place for that. More of a "Lesser Known Movie Recommendations" than a "Movies You Love That No One Has Seen".
Therefore I will second the Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang rec and add the following:
Brick - continuing the neo-noir thriller feel of the previous recommendation, this is set in a southern california high school, but very much in the style of a classic Chandler adaptation, complete with some fantastic old-timey noir dialogue.
The Imposters - Another retro-throwback film, this Stanley Tucci and Oliver Platt vehicle recalls the madcap action of 1930s comedy films such as those by the Marx Brothers or Abbot & Costello. Two failed actors end up stuck on an ocean liner. As was the way of things on board ocean liners in the 30s, intrigue ensues.
The Conversation - Francis Ford Coppola made this movie between The Godfather and The Godfather Pt. 2. Gene Hackman's private eye character becomes enmeshed in a murder plot when he records part of a conversation no one was supposed to hear.
That's all I can think of right now. Damn, I'm really on a film noir kick. I blame some of the original movies I was going to say, so what the hell, if you are feeling like some adventures in German Expressionism I heartily recommend The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, Nosferatu, The Last Laugh, Kameradschaft, and of course M.
Here's 10 that are pretty good, but you probably haven't seen. I'll try and keep them all under 20 years old...and in color for the kiddies.
Also, other honourable mentions:
I found Crash to be sort of an interesting look at the melting pot that is America. All the characters seem fleshed out and in the end, it just leaves the audience thinking about themselves and those around them. Owning Mahowney (Based on a true story) was a very in depth look at a man's gambling problem which only seems to get worse. Philip Seymour Hoffman was very good in this film.
Side Note: Brendan Fraser seems to be getting a lot of appearances on here.
just to actually contribute:
i can't think of a movie that's incredibly obscure that i REALLY like, so here's a happy medium, a movie that lots of people have heard of, but not many have seen, and is unjustly left out of the picture when talk of "classics of suspense and horror" comes up.

" @pakx: Ignore my last post. Anyways, nobody I talked to heard of Crash when I spoke about it. Practically everyone in my Sociology class never heard of it. And it was the 2006 Oscars. :P "I've never seen it. All I know of Crash is that it's apparently Everybody's Racist: The Movie.
" @Kenshin said:Too true, too true. I'd rather watch real masterpieces like Manos: THE HANDS OF FATE or Ed Wood movies or Uwe Boll movies or... Yeahhh, that statement makes a lot of sense. Especially when you don't explain why you feel that way.V for Vendetta,The flat out worst movie ever made. "
" Primer "Wow! That's exactly what my pretentious ass was just about to post! I don't love it, and I probably only understand like 40% of it, but it's a very interesting story. Time travel like it's never been done!
