Metallica - Master of Puppets
Whats your favorite song?
Harder Better Faster Stronger - Daft Punk
It get's really good around 2:00. So if you want to skip the repetitive beginning go ahead and skip it ;-]
"Joan Jett - ReputationFucking awesome song V. Good choice
i mean, just look at her face."
Great to see some TV on the Radio in here...that is probably my favorite song of theirs. That band is really something special. After the ridiculously solid Young Liars, and then the disappointing Desperate Youths it was nice to see them reclaim everything that made Young Liars so amazing and then some.
I simply cant answer this question...but I could give two that commonly fill the slot.
Sigur Ros - Hoppipolla (Their most popular song, and for all the right reasons. I used this band to score my wedding, and while this song wasnt in the wedding, unlike Samskeyti, and Starlafur, which my wife walked down the aisle to, this song is the most hopeful peice of music I have ever heard. In current times, I feel we should charish any and all things that give us, even for a moment, the unabashed feeling that ANYTHING is possible. For me, this song does that, everytime. Play it loud, it deserves it.)
Pink Floyd - Echoes (This is part 1 of 4 on Youtube, the song is roughly 20 minutes, and the Live at Pompeii version is my favorite, insted of posting it all here if you like it just find the rest in related videos. For most of my music listening life I have said this song is my favorite, but I have had the pleasure in recent years to hear alot of stuff...and while it retains a special place in my heart sometimes I feel its time for Echoes to be retired. The Floyds best song IMO, and the birthplace of Darkside of the Moon.)

"I couldnt possibly pin it down to one song. I can easily tire of anything (even the very good) if I listen to it too much. "Same here. Although not because I tire of them, but because I never tire of them. Top 10:
America - Horse With No Name
Cymande - Bra, Listen Up, The Message
The Doors - Light My Fire
Innaway - Threathawk
Pink Floyd - Time
DJ Shadow - Six Days
The Velvet Underground - Rock & Roll
The Zombies - Time of the Season

The Kinks are so underrated. How many bands would make a song about a transvestite?
A tough question...hard to narrow it down to just one, but I am going to go with A Night in Tunisia by Dizzy Gillespie because it's a song I just keep collecting versions of. Some are by Dizz, but others are not. It's just such a great song for jazz musicians to really showcase their talents.

god this one is so the best,
I think this one is my all time fav- you know I freaked out when that beginning montage of "Watchmen" started up!
"Guns n' Roses - EstrangedYou win a cookie.
It has been my favourite song since 1992."
Estranged > November Rain, I love them both but the message on Estranged is much more powerful.
Anything and Everything by Metallica. Since I have to pick one, I'll go with the more obscure "Outlaw Torn". Here it is being performed with an orchestra, Hetfield's voice is at it's best right here:
Don Henley - "The Boys of Summer"
