Lost is my favorite show ever. Eff the haters, it's one of the few things I accept completely as is. Would change nothing about it.

@TheVeteran13: Yeah, I'm bummed about both of them. I guess I meant check them out on video if you haven't seen them. Terriers one season really stands great on it's own. Every episode of Good Guys pretty much stands on it's own. Long live the 'stache!

My favorite show currently on TV is Castle. People say it's terrible, but I don't care. Sure, the murders can be pretty predictable, but the characters are great and the chemistry between Fillion and Katic is electric. The show is hilarious and an all around good time.

Breaking Bad is the greatest show ever. That's not my opinion. That's a scientific fact.

Of all time is Arrested Development and The Larry Sanders Show.

Currently on the air is either It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia or Archer.

Fringe is the best show currently on television.

I've also been enjoying Chuck, Community, Parks and Rec, The Office, and Stargate Universe to name a few.

The past ten years or so have been a golden age of TV with far too many good things to mention, but since I don't think it's been mentioned yet:

Season one was pretty solid, but season two has been freaking amazing.

I also just recently watched the BBC series Luther. It's great and probably still available on Netflix streaming to any interested in good serial crime drama starring that dude from The Wire.

I just realized that apart from an episode of Horizon about the space shuttle that I watched earlier today I haven't watched anything except for sport in about 4 weeks. Every time I go to my parents house and watch some TV, either I am disappointed in the quality, pissed off by the dumb adverts or both.

Silence Will Fall...
Of all time, it's definitely Doctor Who. Started with the revival in 2005, but now I love pretty much all sorts of it - the classic series, the old target novels and 90's new adventure series books, the Audio Plays... I love it!

Close runners up:

I used to be a pretty big fan of Sealab 2021, but Archer is a far more palatable version of that same humor. Sometimes Sealab went just a bit too far.

I love Archer, but I don't think it's scratches the same itch as Sealab. Archer is a lot more chronicled, while Sealab has literally no continuity between episodes. There's also a lot of action in Archer, while the only action in Sealab is the lab blowing up every episode. I definitely prefer the earlier episodes of Sealab. The crappy animation had a certain charm to it, and it forced the writers to rely on writing instead of pretty colors. Some of the episodes also fall flat, but the funny ones (Radio Free Sealab, Lost in Time, Stimutacs) are infinitely rewatchable to me.

This is the only answer.

Breaking Bad is the best show currently on TV, and one of the best of all time. Incredible performances and very human writing. Amazing.

Whether it matches the likes of The Shield, The WIre, Sopranos, Oz etc., will come down to the final couple of seasons and how they decide to wrap it.

Always glad to see Doctor Who fans represent.  The greatest thing about that show is that I cannot think of another show like it.  It melds humor, drama, and science-fiction in such a unique way.

Also, series 6 looks epic.

Dude yes I love Atlantis, but no one beats O'Neill as team leader

Atlantis ended way too soon, it could have lasted 10 seasons too

Did not like Universe at all

Supernatural and The League.

For ones that no one probably watches but me: Morning Drive, Top 10, Golf's Amazing Shots and Big Break all on Golf Channel. Chopped, Best Thing I've Ever Ate and Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives all on Food Network.
