When I was a kid Friday night was always fish and chips and (more importantly ) MacGyver night. So as more and more things from my youth are brought to the fore of popular culture and turned into games (Turtles,GI Joe, Transformers(though they all sucked)) I am left asking a very important question WHERE IS MY MCGYVER GAME? Maybe we need an Ideas shower, or blue storm thing that marketing people have to get the ball rolling on a MacGyver game. Members of Giantbomb any ideas?

I always thought Fallout 3 seemed pretty MacGyver to me. I mean, who should've known a vacuum cleaner can be more deadly then a pistol?

Ohmigawd you raise a great point. Why the hell isn't there a damn MacGyver game!? Maybe because he would be able to use anything in his environment and that would make for a designer's nightmare! Damn MacGyver, you're just too damn clever for even today's game technology. Scribblenauts tried to be your illegitimate child, but it ended up more looking more like a retard than anything else.

i don't think it would be a good game. i think it would have to be a click type of game. good memories of that show. it was pretty cool show. u remind me of patty and selma from the simpsons. it's merges twin sisters if u never watched the simpsons before.

it's about a guy who can make things about of ordinary house hold objects. he always escapes out of hard situations. at the end of the show he always escapes the trap and catches the criminal and the police take the guy away. the chef always ask him how he escaped and how he knew it was him. the last time i watched it i remember him and some other girl got stuck in a shack and the door was locked. he made the door explode from like bird seed and fertilizer. the show might be on tvland if u get that station.

A typical decriptor on pay tv for an episode of MacGyver goes like this :

"When MacGyver tries to help a deaf friend, who is having precognitive dreams of his death , he discovers a plan to steal a voice guided missile system form the government"

That was areal episode. MacGyver even travelled back in time once (maybe twice).

I personally would like the rocksteady guys to make this game. If they can make an awesome Batman game then surely they can do it for MacGyver.
