Where's our color (PC gamers)?

All the console aligned users have their names in color, and we're stuck with our names in white.

It was gold before, if I recall correctly, and now it's plain white. Come on!

Black would be suitable for PC, even though it'll be hard to see the usernames. But yeah, I think the wii should be white, I don't even know why it's red (mario?)

No, no PC FTW. You have to spend a bunch of money on upgrades and shit. I stick to consoles since I don't have to spend another 2k on building a new machine.

OH that's what the colours are!! actually i have bad news: PC come in every coloour and when you mix every single colour together on a palette you get a colour that is usually associated with faeces

this isn't a debate thread but why spend 2k on a pc? i spent 800 last year and i'm still happy with it (may upgrade to a new sli mobo if i get a bigger screen though) , spend 400 every 2 years and you can stay at the cutting edge easily and that's including your screen and speakers which arn't taken account of with consoles, really it works out quite close to consoles if you factor in that new HDTV you'll need to get the most out of your console and a better sound system if you're really hardcore

the nintendo logo is most often red

personally I don't really like the colors anyway

but then I am not a specific fan of one particular gaming platform

Maybe to an artist, but not to a scientist. Black is the absence of colour. White is all colours combined. That's why white light is white, because it is every colour in the visible light spectrum (the rainbow) combined."

I thought that the PC should be blue as IBM's logo was blue and when I think of what represents PC gaming historically was the good old "IBM Compatible" description.
