Australia most likely. I'd like to spend a couple of years in the USA but I find it kinda intense their. Though if Australia was too hot I'd go with Canada. (UK born)

I'm not sure if I would. As much as I love visiting other countries, continents, and cultures I'm not sure if I could ever be as comfortable there as I am in America. That being said when I was a little kid I lived in England for a few years and I've been back a few times since. So if I had to live anywhere else it would be there or in Canada.

how do you know what you know? If you haven't reached the logical conclusion on your own... which you can't have because you don't possess the information, then it must have been pushed on you by media/family/etc = brainwashed...

I don't know. My country (Or the politics/people) is kind of dumb sometimes but, I still love it. Would probably want to move to Sweden or somewhere cold. Maybe Greenland :D

Or...if I could move to a different state maybe Alaska! That would be pretty awesome.

Huh, curious. I, too, moved from the Netherlands to Canada and I have to say that I love it here.

Currently in the UK, so looking at English-speaking developed countries:

Australia - Too hot

New Zealand - Too hot

United States - Sure

Canada - First choice

I really don't know.

I don't know enough about other countries to state with confidence that I would want to live in them.

@Farmer: You could add sweden denmark and norway to that list. Basically english speaking countries...we learn it from age 6, and our movies aren't dubbed over like german and french people do. Even illiterate people in scandinavia understand english.

Somewhere that doesn't have a complicated strange toilet and good air conditioning.

I would like to travel around Europe before making a decision, but I really enjoyed my time in France and Spain. There was a time I would've said the US, but for whatever reason I now have very little interest in moving there.

Italy, Ireland, Germany or Canada are my main places.

Sweden or Canada (from Denmark).

I've always kinda wanted to live in the UK.

It's a little different than the US, but not a whole lot. It also has castles and that's pretty awesome.

Happy to say I left that place called the UK, specifically Wales. Mainland Europe is just better on so many levels. If I could choose somewhere besides Netherlands though, I'd say Sweden, Norway or New Zealand.

Well if I had to leave the U.S. I'd probably end up in the U.K. somewhere.

If iI were rich, I'd buy a summer home in Norway, somewhere near the fjords, and then I'd invest in a nice villa somewhere in Spain, where I'd spend the winter months.

My first choice would be the moon. It's not "a country" and it's not "on Earth", but... it orbits around earth, so I'm counting it.

Second choice would be somewhere in the UK. Though since I'm an American, I imagine everyone would hate me and I wouldn't make many friends. So I'll just stick to the moon.

Live in Iceland, i would like to try and visit France and see how it is, i visit the US. about 2-3 times a year and really like it, would be good choice for school.

If I left Canada I would hope to be on my way to either France or Sweden.

Anywhere warm. I used to live in Singapore for a little bit. Apart from being so humid that my clothes stuck to me, I enjoyed it immensely. Everybody was so nice there.

It really depends on what kind of income I had. If I was wealthy and could afford a posh villa then I would love to live in Italy for a bit. Preferably on the coast. Otherwise I'm fine living in the U.S. for the most part.

@Hermoor: New Zealand is quite a nice place temperature wise. I don't think we get quite as high as the tropics though.

Probably Boston or San Francisco for me. Maybe Austin.

Kind of hard to improve upon Norway, but I'm going to work in New Zealand for 5 months in the spring and that seems cool. I wouldn't mind living in USA for a while as well, but I wouldn't want to stay there permanently.

I work at a Ski Hill and at least 75% of the locals here are from Australia or New Zealand. I'm sorry to say this Australia, but New Zealanders seem a lot more laid back, relaxed, and are missing the almost American level of arrogance that is common in Australians.

Probably Japan first of all, but I'd be opening to live a ton of places (Canada, Australia, England, Ireland, S. Africa, etc.).
