I have never seen an Endurance Run before, but I want to build up a stash of one to watch while in hospital.
Which one would be the best to watch?
Thanks.
Which Endurance Run should I start on?
You should watch both Deadly Premonition endurance runs. Alternate between them every episode. Watching the two duos playing so differently is fun.
But if you want to start out light, there's always the Bad Dudes Endurance Run.
BR didn't get a vote yet? Oh no. If only I knew I would have give them my vote instead of giving to Persona. But, yeah, that's the best. But, you should watch them all. And if you go to Deadly Premonition you should also watch both at the same time. You get to know how they work differently and the similarities between reactions and all that. Very interesting and very entertaining.
I watched the Deadly Premonition ones and alternated between the two
Just started watching Persona 4 myself, up to episode 10 i think, though havent watched in a week or two
i thought the DP ERs were hilarious, main thing that got me hooked on the site
I'd say start on Persona because it's really good and there'll be some reference to it in the VJ endurance run. Then after that watch the VJ endurance run because it's really good too and only if you want to watch BR endurance run because it's the same game just with a bit less charm I think.
I agree with most of the other votes, that you need to watch Persona 4 the most. The Deadly Premonition ER's are good too,but at least for me Persona 4 was more interesting to watch and I think the commentary was funnier.
" Persona 4. But you really should just look up the "best of" videos on YouTube. "That's crazy talk. I'd imagine it's much funnier when you know the long and drawn-out context of each funny moment.
" @Milkman said:Indeed. Plus, there are many more funny moments that the "Best of" videos don't include. It's not as if the parts in those Youtube videos are all of the hilarious moments that came from the ER." Persona 4. But you really should just look up the "best of" videos on YouTube. The Persona 4 Endurance Run is probably my favorite thing that has ever come from Giant Bomb.
Deadly Premonition ERs were both pretty fucking bad. Meanwhile, Persona 4 ER is easily one of the best things this site has ever done.
Persona 4 was something everyone here rallied behind. People were so eager to help Jeff and Vinny, sometimes to the point of being overbearing. But there's a good reason: because it's a fantastic, engrossing game.
And for some weird reason I enjoyed watching them do the S-Link portions more than the actual combat.
Persona 4 is the original, and actually an incredible game so you can enjoy the commentary and the game itself. I found it fun to play along.
I've watched all of the Persona 4 ER, all of the VJ Deadly Premonition, and scattered parts of the BR version.
Persona 4 was definitely better, I had a lot of fun watching it and VJ were having a lot of fun playing it.
The Deadly Premonition ER was pretty boring at times and it took me awhile to get through it all. I only watched the BR version to see their reaction to some of the endgame stuff.
P4 all the way. More laughs per minute.
Also, make sure to tell the nurses what you're doing, lest they misinterpret your hysterical fits of laughter as craziness and shove you into a padded room.
Personally I've never watched one, and I don't think I can now. I'm back at school, and they cap my bandwidth at 16 Gb (maybe GB, but I think it's Gb) per week. Regardless of what it is, it's too easy to cap, and when I cap it, they throttle my internet speed to 436 kbps, as opposed to 1 mbps.

" @example1013 said:Well, my college is sorta super-awesome. Mostly because it's a state-owned school, and thus gets bajillions of dollars from the state to do whatever the fuck it wants. For instance, there hasn't been a year without at least like 3 different construction projects for the past decade. Also, there's wi-fi in pretty much every single classroom and building, including all the dorms." Personally I've never watched one, and I don't think I can now. So yeah, we get all the nice things.
