I have 40 gig PS3 and I got one of those a closed beta Home thingy when it started. I downloaded becuase I was interested and what not. And as soon as I logged in, I was very disappointed becuase I did not see a point. Maybe becuase I did not see many Home users during that time but still, I do not see a point of using that thing. Plus, since my hard drive was only 40 gig, I thought it was a big waste of space. I eventually bought 250 gig laptop hard drive and put it in to PS3 so I have more than enough space now.
So I have a couple of questions for all the Home users out there.
A. Why do you use Home?
B. Do the contents that Sony brings(Buzz or any other in-Home games) matter?
Who actually uses Playsation Home?
I know this is hella off topic. But I've always wondered, will any laptop HDD work on a PS3? And how do I put it 'in' the PS3?
To be on topic. I used it a couple times, then regreted doing so. It sucked. Hard.
they should, as long as it uses the eSata connections. I helped change a 320gb for my friends ps3 and it works fine. I hear even SSDs are okay on them. Try googling for a guide, its not that hard and I believe your warranty will be safe.

Just has to be a 2.5 drive with a sata connection. And putting it in is easy way too easy, if you can use a screwdriver your set." I know this is hella off topic. After all the fun I had during that five minutes that made up my first visit, I decided that I was never going back there.
I used Home to pretend I was a girl and started hitting on guys. I even got some phone numbers. I then started telling everyone around me those phone numbers.
The internet is fun!
