Who is the best Ninja Turtle? (POLL) Let's settle this!

I got into an argument here at the office with a fellow coworker. I just needed some insight into what GiantBomb thinks.

It has always been Donatello for me...I love that guy!

I liked Donatello to begin with, but i gotta go Raph for Fav.

For me, it's always been a toss-up between Donatello and Raphael. Raph is obvious a choice pick because he is the tough guy of the bunch, hence capable  of kicking more ass.

However, brains are much more useful than brawn and Donatello has always been the brains of the operation. Not only can Donatello kick ass on occasion (without the use of a guilded weapon), but he also has tech on his side.

Growing up, I saw Donatello as the turtle I wanted to be the most, aside from Michelangelo, but everyone wants to be Michelangelo at least once.

It's gotta be Donatello, he wears purple and he's the smart one. Simple as.

Donatello for me too! It takes a real turtle to wear purple and still kick ass.

Nobody has said Leonardo yet :(

Although it has to be said, the only interesting thing about him was that he had two katanas...

Donatello was my favorite.

Man no Leo votes? He was my second fav, if that counts for anything...

I can't believe Donatello is winning. I thought Michaelangelo would be the favorite for sure. Leonardo was probably my second favorite, it's a shame he's getting no respect.

Haha, Leo was too straight. Raph wins because he was a bad ass but donatello is a close second.

Easily Raphael for me for a few reasons:

1. The 'Tude - Raph wasn't afraid to wear his emotions on his sleeve. When he was angry, you knew it. When he was happy, you knew it. Raph's attitude was he didn't give a shit. He said what he felt and didn't care if you liked it or not. I can identify with that enormously.

2. Fiercely Loyal - No matter what Raph would have your back. I know this pretty much rings true for each turtle but it comes across more strongly with him.

3. Unique Weapon - Raph's Sais were unique because they are truly an up close and personal weapon while the others' offered more range. Even Mikey's nunchaku offered him some decent amount of range. So in a fight it would be in your face fighting which is admirable since anyone can wave a sharply pointed object at someone else and feel superior, but to take it in so close requires more skill (and balls) IMHO.

3. Motivated - He definitely wasn't the strategist out of the group and wasn't one to sit around on his laurels. If you ever needed someone to lead the way Raph would definitely be my choice. Not content to sit around and talk about it he wants to get straight to the action. And while a certain amount of planning is beneficial you need someone to take charge and implement that plan in to action.

Dude, it's freaking Donny!

Michelangelo was always very annoying to me.  Donatello had a bow staff, and any euphemistic reference to a large penis is a good euphemistic reference. 

Plus, the dude wore purple, so it was clear he was pretty comfortable with himself.

Everybody. I repeat, EVERYBODY knows Raphael is the best. Bad-ass of em' all!

To be fair, Donny was, and has always been my pick.

Mikey was THE funniest and all around most awesome.

I would actually contend that the only thing wrong with Donny is the purple. Sad to say"

Donatello.  He's smart, a smart-ass, and he uses a fuckin' bo staff!!!  He don't need any blades, fool!!!

And another vote for Donatello. He is a genius, has to be said + a bo staff can be used in different ways.

Leonardo was to much of the little good guy, plus wielding 2 katanas is kinda weird, since ONE Katana is better than two (since it can block two blades at once and you have a better grip on one)

Raphael was nothin' but an aggressive jerk :P
PLUS the weapon of his choice was kinda bullshit.....
his knives are meant to defend oneself, break the enemy's blade, THEN attack (he is just going all out)

And last Michelangelo..... The Nunchakus are one of the hardest weapons to wield and correctly use EVER. It requires a stern determination, a cool mind and strict discipline to do so. He has none of them. So it's a save bet to say he is the worst turtle (not hating on him, I just looking on that objectively)
I also always wondered why Splinter gave HIM the Nunchakus.....
