My avatar is a combination of Brandon Flower's body + Richard Gallup's head = awesome. I might change the head to Brad or Vinny soon, my love for Gallup is fading.
I've had the same one on practically every game site I've joined for seven years now. Penguin dust is mentioned in the poem "Marriage" by beat poet, Gregory Corso. It was also the punchline of an old Bloom County comic. Twenty-three years ago, when I picked up the nickname, it was unique. I always associated the name and the Bloom County toon, Opus, together.
Leisure Suit Larry was one of the first games I ever played, right around when I was about five or six. It was either this or a Roger Wilco avatar, and I liked the pic of Larry Laffer better. Besides, we're both just a couple of dudes looking to score, so it works!

I fucking love your avatar. I chose mine because of my name "BucketDeth" which is my two favorite bands mixed Buckethead and Megadeth, so I have a Buckethead picture in my avatar.
I chose mine because, well, it's a picture of Megalon.
For those unfamiliar, it's from the fantastic movie Godzilla vs. Megalon. It's got giant monsters fighting, as well as a robot that can grow to the same size as said monsters and throw down. So it's pretty alright.
