Why do you drink alcohol?

it's delicious, but then again my taste for liquor isn't varied I find that generally I just drink different variations of Rum. I do have a bottle or two of Vodka but that isn't really my kind of thing. I drink that when i'm with friends and we want to do some shots.
 
Also Rum and Sake are the best, I don't really like anything other than that.

There is a difference between having a drink (or a few) and drinking. I do the former, not the latter, and none of it particularly often. But a little bit can be just enough to help get a good conversation going with people. And socializing is fun, even for those of us who tend to be shy.
 
I understand the appeal of drunkenness because I have a working brain, but it is not for me. I have a fairly reasonable tolerance which helps.

I don't drink anymore.

Because beer & tailgating and/or beer & grillin' is what I do, and it just seems so.... right.
