The hours of entertainment I enjoyed for free since I started visiting this site and will continue enjoy the next couple of years makes 500 dollars seem kind of... stupid? At least I would feel stupid if I had spent 1000 hours (it's probably more then that when you think of all the Bombcasts, ER, QL) on something that was only worth $500. If I know your currency correctly thats like 50 cent per hour of entertainment?

Sure. Anyone who's important to me here can easily be contacted through other means, I get my Bombcast fix from iTunes, and I haven't had time to keep up with the video content in almost a year now anyway.
 
Actually, why am I still here? Maybe it's because I enjoy correcting the ignorant, watching them resort to petty insults under the weight of their terrible arguments. Maybe it's because there are just enough people here who actually know what they're talking about that there is some discussional value to be had. I dunno, but given the choice between $200 (or any lesser sum above $5) and GiantBomb, I'd definitely go for the money.
