Watching Brad play Quick Look's infuriates me, as it seems like he had the tips of his thumbs frost bitten or something and has lost all precision while gaming. He also seems to have ability to handle stressful situations equal to that of a 16 year old girl at her first day of work. Too many times were are subjected to hearing him squeal and run off without firing a single bullet into a zombies head (Deadly Premonition, RE5).
SO WITH THAT IN MIND....would you let this man play a game at your home while you watched. And if you would, what would be the boiling point of gaming suckage that would make you rip the controller out of his hand and do it right?
Would you let Brad play video games with you?

" @The_Laughing_Man: I can sympathize with that, but RE5 is no excuse. Watching him do quicklook's for that hurts my soul. And don't act like it's not general knowledge that Brad is a poor performer in QL's. "Then don't watch? Third person shooters are not for everyone.
Ok then. You make a quicklook. Get asked questions wile on video and playing the game wile trying to show off the game.
Of course! Playing games with friends isn't about winning for me. I am sure Brad would do fine when he isn't being recorded and having to explain mechanics and such.
Why not? It's not my business if he's good at games or not. He can have at it all he wants as far as I'm concerned. His lack of skill when it comes to gaming doesn't seem to influence his enthusiasm for the medium negatively, and I rarely see him write a negative review. So long as his integrity remains intact, he can come over here and throw any of the games on my shelf into my Xbox. I'm not gonna complain if he isn't good at it.
dude he's been doing fine in Deadly Premonition so far. It's not like he made a huge freaking blunder or something! So what it took him an extra second to whip out his gun, you guys need to chill the fuck out.
And yes I would let Brad play video games with me.
Brad does his best as an "underdog"
When nobody expects him to win
Remember the time when he kicked 1up's ass?
Man, that was awesome!
I just have a bad tendency to get angry when I'm watching someone play and they don't do it how I would. Didn't expect this big of a reaction!
" I just have a bad tendency to get angry when I'm watching someone play and they don't do it how I would. Didn't expect this big of a reaction! "The cult of Brad is displeased with you!
I, somehow, dont mind whatever Brad says in the ERs.
Yes, I would be (Agent) honored to let him play with me :P
I would not call Brad's performance (almost dying several times in DP) "doing fine". I would let him play but damned if I wouldn't be laughing the whole time.

"They got a guy named Shoemaker on staff, but hes not makin shoes.
That doesn't really apply to anything so back off Brad, asswipe.
I think his poor skills at the game while being recorded make their ER more enjoyable to watch.
I'm basically watching the same game 3 times (I'm playing it, and I watch both Vinny and Jeff as well as Brad and Ryan) so as you can imagine it can drag a little especially when watching Ryan and Brad play as they have a different focus then Vinny and Jeff (dont judge, I watch while I'm at work =P ...wait um... ).
I actually get the impression Ryan is enjoying the ER more then Brad. I only hope Brad's completionist mentality kicks in at least a little after the world opens up more otherwise they'll miss some great moments.
Anyway, the way Brad plays helps keep it fresh and different from Vinny and Jeff (who are both playing well and riffing it in a very funny way). I like Brad as a reviewer (his thoughts generally match my own, except about DP surprisingly) and as a gameplayer he is enjoyable to watch, especially with Ryan going nuts next to him haha... its definitely an interesting take.
of course i would let brad play games, while i watched especially ones i hate playing but like to watch their movies
Brad is pretty bad at video games. Watching him run around with no ammo for 10 minutes only to wait until a zombie is about to bash his face in with a pipe before pulling the trigger and starting to reload. Constantly getting turned around and back tracking. Pulling the machine gun out, waiting for a while, switching to a melee weapon and then back to his pistol then getting bashed in the face before attacking anything. That's all I can remember form the last episode of the endurance run, but instead of getting upset I just enjoy watching Brad mess up in new and funny ways. Nothing beats Ryan's cheer of joy when Brad died in the first episode, I wish every episode ended that way.
And yes I'd let Brad play a game with me, unless it was a hard co-op game I was trying to get an achievement/trophy in, because watching his hilarious ability to do the wrong thing at the wrong time live would be quite a treat.

"I'm not one to hate but a lot of the time he takes more than an extra second. Sometimes he doesn't bother pulling his gun out at all or when he does refuses to shoot for some bizarre reason. Other times he'll run into a corner and get surrounded by zombies. Brad's still a cool guy but watching him play games can be infuriating at the best of times.
Duder, I would be shocked if his greatness even talked to me, of course I would play videogames with him, what kind of question is that? Its motherfucking Brad Shoemaker were talking about here.
