Guns are such an impersonal way to kill someone.  I think if you would of asked the same question but said you would have to brutally murder them with a knife or hammer the no answers would be much higher.  Or not...

Fuck no! An innocent person?? That says itself right there -- INNOCENT! If it was a drug pusher or some sort of really, really bad criminal, then yes. Easily I'd kill that prick for a billion dollars.
 
The way I see it, this innocent person might as well just be a child, right. The people here who seriously would kill a innocent person for a billion dollar need to seek help. Cause they are fucking assholes and I'm embarrassed to be hanging out at the same site as them.

If I could choose the person, say somebody who is like 99 years old, is sitting in a hospital bed screaming in pain, and shouting "Kill me! Please!"

That way it would be good to kill the person and I could use a very big chunk of the cash to help several hundred charities, friends & family out financially.

Most people who are saying "yes" have probably never held a gun, let alone aimed one at another human being, and would panic, shake uncontrollably, and drop the gun.

Well, if I only have to shoot them, as in not fatally, I suppose I'd do it and use some of the cash for their hospital bills, and maybe throw a mill at them for their troubles. However, if it was fatal, I doubt I'd be able to do it. The guilt would kill me in the end. 

Oh, what a bunch of tough fucks who say they would shoot someone for money. Glad to see this topic is OK but me saying something is gay was totally fucking unacceptable.

Only if  I don't know them, or someone I don't care about and I would get away with it. 

 The main thing to realize about this question is that a billion dollars isn't worth anything if you didn't do anything worthwhile to earn it. Yeah, sure, you could buy a space ship or a mountain or something to that effect; but would you truly be able to enjoy it, knowing what you did to obtain it? I doubt you would, unless you're not human.
 
Also, I really think it's funny that people think they can justify killing one person by donating money to medical research; just because you give a bunch of scientists a bunch of money, doesn't mean anyone else's lives are going to be saved; just that those scientists lead slightly-more-comfortable lives.

Yes, I'd do it. You could probably pay someone to get rid of your guilt, or pay someone to resurrect the person you shot using some kind of black magic and still have like, $998,132,987 left.  Hell, I'd kill someone for $20,000.
