I watched the Dark knight again for a second time and it was so boring, yes it was 1 of the best movies I ever saw the 1st time but I felt like leaving during half of the movie. I don't think a movie can be exciting the 2nd time, the only thing watching it a 2nd time can do is give you more info about the story.
Best scene: bank scene
best line: "give me one good reason why I shouldn't have my boy pull your head off "
best character: gordon
best villain: joker
bye
You can't watch a movie twice!!!!
I saw it a 2nd time and thought it was even better. One of my friends has seen it 4 times already and he hasn't gotten tired of it.
You can't watch a movie twice eh?
Well I'm pretty sure that I've seen Pokemon: The First Movie at least a 80 times in my childhood.
Your logic is broken.
Everytime i watch any of the godfather movies i enjoy it more than the last time. So yeah your logic fails
I've watched many movies multiple times, I had to watch Donnie Darko like 3 times to understand what the hell was happening. I usually enjoy it, doesn't get boring for me.
"You don't know how to enjoy a movie then. Movies like Pulp Fiction and Memento never get old for me, and I've watched them 5 plus timesPulp Fiction sure, but Memento? That kind of lost its edge for me after seeing the twist at the end. I suppose you could keep watching it to pick up any small details you may have missed the first time around. I enjoy that with movies. I also listen to commentaries to gain a different perspective.

I agree though i havent even seen the dark knight yet. Ive just about given up buying dvds after watching my roommate by hundreds of them that after watching once i felt belonged in a trash can. My roomates obsession with crappy old "art" movies has really turn me off to movie watching overall, once you get to a point the same crap does become very boring.
Obviously some movies are worth watching multiple times and Ive bought some blu-rays just for the awesome detail level but otherwise im essentially done purchasing movies that will be on tv at some point anyways.
"You can't watch a movie twice eh?I probably watched the digimon movie about that many times when I was a kid

Yes, you can. It just has to be a good movie. I could stand to watch Dark Knight a couple more times, but it's not in my top favorites.
"Everytime Forrest Gump comes on TV I watch it, must have seen it damn near 50 times by now."
Me too, i dont even like it that much, but i always watch it, so i guess i do like it

I have that movie on VHS and have watched it so many times i still remember pieces of it.
There were like 3 parts to that movie, so two digimon fused or something in the second one.
Then they beat that virus thing while one of the guys was at his grandpa's place... or something.
PRICELESS MEMORIES!
"I can't see horror movies again. I just already know who dies and you know it gets oldYeah thats one type of movie that i cannot watch twice. You know when all the scary parts come, then it is just not exciting anymore.

i saw The Dark Knight 3 times in one week. and i still love it... and that is NOT the best line. best line is
"how bout a magic trick... im gonna make this pencil disappear *SMASH* its gone!" or Harvey Dents 2 great lines "You either die the hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villian" "the night is darkest before the dawn"
I saw Dark Knight for the second time today and I thought it was better the second time. I understood it more.
"The films i think you can watch multiple times are:It's not Aliens 2, it's just Aliens. The original is Alien, then Aliens, Alien 3, and it ends with Alien Resurrection. This is the first time I've ever heard someone call Aliens, Aliens 2.
Transformers
Aliens 2
Cloverfield
Ive watched transformers 7 times !! Yes i love that film
Ive watched Cloverfield 3 times
Ive watched aliens 2 more than transformers !! Addicted to the film."
Allow me to correct what the topic creator means:
If you watch movies purely for the action scenes, it is difficult to watch most movies more than once.
I've seen it twice, will probably see it a third time atleast, and I loved it both times. I even noticed small stuff I didn't the first time. Some movies you can't go back and see a second time with the same enjoyment, but Dark Knight is one of them.
Plus, most of your 'bests' are miles away. There are so many good lines in that movie, but the one the thug says is not it. Nor is the bank scene the best. The best scene was easily the return of Gordon. Seeing that at the midnight release, the entire theater got up and clapped.
