You can't watch a movie twice!!!!

I watched the Dark knight again for a second time and it was so boring, yes it was 1 of the best movies I ever saw the 1st time but I felt like leaving during half of the movie. I don't think a movie can be exciting the 2nd time, the only thing watching it a 2nd time can do is give you more info about the story.

I saw it a 2nd time and thought it was even better. One of my friends has seen it 4 times already and he hasn't gotten tired of it.

Everytime i watch any of the godfather movies i enjoy it more than the last time. So yeah your logic fails

I've watched many movies multiple times, I had to watch Donnie Darko like 3 times to understand what the hell was happening. I usually enjoy it, doesn't get boring for me.

I saw it a second time and it was just as good as it was the first time.  Although the second viewing was an IMAX, which made it that more impressive.

I enjoyed The Dark Knight twice, and many other movies. For example, I've seen Scarface at least 7 times.

I agree though i havent even seen the dark knight yet.  Ive just about given up buying dvds after watching my roommate by hundreds of them that after watching once i felt belonged in a trash can.  My roomates obsession with crappy old "art" movies has really turn me off to movie watching overall, once you get to a point the same crap does become very boring.

Obviously some movies are worth watching multiple times and Ive bought some blu-rays just for the awesome detail level but otherwise im essentially done purchasing movies that will be on tv at some point anyways.

Pulp Fiction sure, but Memento?  That kind of lost its edge for me after seeing the twist at the end.  I suppose you could keep watching it to pick up any small details you may have missed the first time around.  I enjoy that with movies.  I also listen to commentaries to gain a different perspective.

Yes, you can. It just has to be a good movie. I could stand to watch Dark Knight a couple more times, but it's not in my top favorites.

If I see it in theatres, I will watch it again when it releases on DVD. But I couldn't spend money to watch a movie again in theatres, unless someone else pays for it.

i saw The Dark Knight 3 times in one week. and i still love it... and that is NOT the best line. best line is

I rewatch movies all the time. I will probably see The Dark Knight again if I have the chance.

I saw Dark Knight for the second time today and I thought it was better the second time. I understood it more.

Ive watched Oceans 11 ONCE a week since ti came out. No lie, and i still enjoy it VERY much, therefore you lose i win.

I'm going to see it for the fourth time in a few days.

I hate most movies the second time around, I was so bored in Iron Man the second time. No Country for Old Men and Harold and Kumar go to White Castle were both good the second time though.

A lot of movies you can't, but I thought The Dark Knight was even better the second time.  I'm gonna see it a third time soon.

Yeah but The Dark Knight just came out so you remember the scenes fairly fell, I like to rewatch movies after a year or two.

Allow me to correct what the topic creator means:
If you watch movies purely for the action scenes, it is difficult to watch most movies more than once.

I've seen countless movies twice and more. Some of them are even better when you watch them for the second time.

No matter how many times I see Anchorman I am thoroughly entertained.

This is going to be the first movie im going to see twice at the cinema im going next week

I've seen it twice, will probably see it a third time atleast, and I loved it both times. I even noticed small stuff I didn't the first time. Some movies you can't go back and see a second time with the same enjoyment, but Dark Knight is one of them.


Plus, most of your 'bests' are miles away. There are so many good lines in that movie, but the one the thug says is not it. Nor is the bank scene the best. The best scene was easily the return of Gordon. Seeing that at the midnight release, the entire theater got up and clapped.
