kidz bop is horrible, but it's also one of the few CD's that makes reasonable money, mainly by selling to young kids who don't yet have a sense of what bands are any good.

whats ruining the music industry is the Record companies who sign this shit. Artists need to do it themselves thesedays if they are to be considered any form of art.

What's your guys' problem? It said in the video that "it's music by kids [by adults] for kids". It's not being targeted at you guys it's being targeted at 10 year olds. There is no 'music industry' worth saving for that age-group. It's just mindless pap but whatever, I don't expect a young kid to be interested in any particulary deep or meaningfull music.

My littlest brother (age 9) likes country music and my other brother (age 13) likes Metallica and they both think Kidz Bop is shit.
