Gegury is a 17yr old South Korean girl, currently ranked eighth in the world. She's been whooping their arses consistently and they threatened to leave, if she was found to not be cheating. She then went onto S Korean state TV and proved her skill was genuine, so they ended up quiting.

Good for her. It's probably an incredibly shitty thing to go through to have your skills questioned so vehemently. I just hope something really good for her will come of it, like her being noticed and maybe picked up by a pro team to hone her skills.

yeah. as much as i'd like to be really, really good at a game (or anything, for that matter), i feel it's kinda sad how the whole pro gamer attitude can basically permeate games from top to bottom. so if you're not exhibiting MLG level strats at a supposedly casual level then you've screwed up.

that said, i'm glad these idiots had to make good on their promise and quit, and good for her for not backing down under such harassment.

Fun to watch and the team make up is so different than what I find in my low level games. No Toblerones or Bastions on those escort/capture two points missions. I assume the players are too good at destroying the turret classes but man do I struggle against them.

Man, I have no idea what is even happening when watching her play! I don't play Overwatch for starters, and it's all in Korean, and it's on PC so the camera movement is all over the place. And for what little I played in the beta I never tried Zyra, which thusly confounds my confusement an additional skosh!

It's great that she was able to formally confirm her legit skills and make the accusers eat the sweetest of crow.
