A quick question about cloud saving!

Hey gang!

Just a quickie. I'm in the UK at the moment, and I'm moving to Japan soon (hopefully!!)

I'm thinking about selling my PS4 Pro in the UK, and rebuying one when I get over there. But how do my saves work? Do I just sign up for a month of PS Plus, upload the saves, cancel PS Plus till I'm there, and then when I get there and re-sign back up, I can download my cloud saves?

(I'm only done cloud saves on Steam before, I'm a bit clueless!!)

I would not cancel your PS+ sub until you have downloaded your cloud saves. I believe they are erased from the servers if your sub lapses. I certainly could be wrong, though.

Yes you need PS+ to upload and download your saves, so buying a month or using a 7 day trial and uploading your saves and re-subbing later will work. And as Ralph said they will eventually delete the saves, but some googling is saying you have 6 months before they will. And saving them to a memory stick is also an option if you want to go that route.
