I've got a ton I would love to see come to ps4.
What PS2 games do you want to see on PS4?
Personally, I only really want games that I missed. Really glad Rogue Galaxy came out but for the most part, I got a lot of what I wanted as PS2 Classics on PS3 (God Hand, Odin Sphere, Capcom vs. SNK 2, Fatal Frame series, Manhunt). There are some left still I would be interested in though.
- Shadow Hearts series (heard those were good)
- Silent Hill series (damn you Konami)
- Onimusha series (played only 1 & 3. would love to play 2 & dawn of dreams)
- Burnout 3 I wouldn't mind either 'cause that's still my favorite
Final Fantasy XII, but I doubt that'll happen. SE is gave all their attention to X, and are giving all their attention to VII for the next decade or so. I don't imagine they'd have time even for a simple up-res.
One thing I wonder is if they could improve the voice audio in that game, as all the voices sound like they were recorded using a cassette player from the 80s.
- Final Fantasy XII
- Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King
- Star Ocean: Till the End of Time
- Xenosaga Trilogy
- All the Shin Megami Tensei games (Persona, DDS, Nocturne)
- Grandia games
- Suikoden games
Basically all the good old RPGs. And maybe some others I can't think of right now.
All of these (though I never played any Grandia), Shadow Hearts 1&2. And I've got a weird soft spot for Primal, though more for the music and voice talent than the game itself.
GodHand, Killer7, SMT: Nocturne and the two Digital Devil Saga games.
Godhand and Killer7 are unlikely to get the emulation treatment, if only because Capcom seems to at least remember those games exist, and that a HD version is possible (those games were on the polls of games that Capcom was using to gauge interest for).
@kasaioni: FFXII HD has been teased for a bit now, if not straight up confirmed. I'm excited for it.
- Burnout 3
- Burnout 3!
- Burnout 2
- SSX Tricky
- Burnout 3
- NBA Street Vol.2
- Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3
- Killer 7 (Although i'd prefer a WiiU Version with Remote and/or Touchpad Support)
- Burnout 3
Actually, lots of potential re-releases fall under the Radar for me because they already had HD Versions/PC Ports in the Previous Gen, like God of War, Prince of Persia:SOT, SOTC and of course, all those MGS'es
Well, I was going to say Okami, but it's already had a HD update. Then I wad going to say ICO and SotC, and GoW.....

Yeah but none of them are on PS4. Well actually... PS Now.
Anyway that takes care of the obvious stuff. I want obscure games that would never get any actual work done to them to update and re-release them.
It really sucks that we will probably mostly see beloved classics and first party sony games. I want the off the wall random shit. I played so many shitty PS2 games that I would love to play again.

@frybird: Many of the games that have had HD re-releases might actually look as good and play/perform better in the emulator than they did on ps3. I know the MGS HD re-releases had performance issues on PS3 like the long loads for codec calls and weren't they 30fps?
Eh, not "many" i think. As i remember, it was mostly the Silent Hill Collection that truly was worse, with the other Konami re-releases maybe having minimal issues (Do not know about MGS HD on PS3, played it on the 360 and was absolutely fine, 30 fps in MGS 3 (as it were) and 60 fps in MGS 2 (as it probably weren't in Europe? I honestly don't remember).
That said, i recently bought POP:Sands of Time for PS3 and it crashes my system before i can even play : ((
@jtruiss1: haha I played the crap outta that game. Quite liked it then but probably doesn't hold up at all. I actually still own it.
A lot of games that I played and have fond memories of have gotten the HD treatment, mainly Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, so those are off the table.
The only games I can think of that I really, really want to play are -
- Onimusha series, even the shitty fighting game, Onimusha: Blade Warriors
- SSX Tricky. Tricky is the perfect game to me. There was nothing more fun that hitting crazy combos and scoring millions of points. Also, Tokyo Megaplex is probably my favorite course in any extreme sports game ever.

Oh hell yeah. I played through Tricky a baffling number of times (I think I beat the career mode with almost all of the characters), and I never played any other SSX game before or since. Something about it just clicked with me...I'd love to give it another spin with trophies and stuff.

The ones that I put in the ps4 disc tray!
Same here. Gonna have to go buy a PS3 with backwards compatibility (or a PS2) to play PS1 and PS2 games now. Sonny is such a greedy, corporate-minded company.
Pretty much every PS2 game I care about got a PS3 collection, the only ones left that I really wanted were Shadow Hearts and Xenosaga.
I would like to see Ace Combat 4, 5, and 0, as well as Metal Arms Glitch in the System which I doubt would happen. Yakuza 1 and 2 would also be nice. Would probably like the SMT games too which I can see coming due to the amount already as PS2 classics. Do I really want to buy them again though...
I think the price of the PS2 games so far is a bit too much and the requirement to put work into bringing them up to standard will just put off publishers from adding more games. Then there's also the issues with licensing I bet a lot of games have. I think a lot of people might be disappointed with this to be honest, it seems at best we will get a similar selection to the PS2 classics of last generation. I just can't imagine the library expanding much beyond that unless Sony encourages it. Oh well, I guess I'll wait and see.
@substance_d: As opposed to all those generous, compassionate-minded video game corporations.
I'd like to see Dark Cloud 2 and Suikoden V. Those are two games that people like to talk up a whole lot but are hard to find in decent condition for a reasonable price.
Mostly the stuff that's really hard to find, I guess. Stuff like From Software's King's Field 4, Eternal Ring and Shadow Tower Abyss, and Silent Hill: Shattered Memories whose PS2 version seemed to get a ridiculously limited release, at least in PAL territories.
Of course I'd also love to see the Champions of Norrath and Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance games.
