Can you play just regular solo tetris? Maybe even solo Puyo Puyo?

I assume that solo tetris is something they can't skip for a Tetris game but what about Puyo Pyuo? Is that a series that ever had solo-play AKA one game field?

All I have played besides the demo is Dr Robotniks etc etc and that only had a single player mode consisting of beating harder and harder AI's, is that what Puyo Puyo is?

@forcen: The game has multiple non-AI modes that allow you just go for score challenges and the like.

@bradbrains: Yes to both? Can I play Puyo without an AI dropping garbage on my screen?

Yes. In fact (at least from my time with the Switch version) you can jump right into a puyo puyo, tetris or fusion mode straight from the start screen. There's a lot of different modes for single player and that's not even mentioning the adventure mode. In my opinion it's one of the most content filled puzzle games I've played in years. Plus the AI is pretty challenging. I do believe there is a puyo puyo mode where it's pretty much endless to.
