Who are your favorite Persona 3 characters?

I know this game is old but I can not help to ask this question because Persona 3 has a large cast of memorable and fully realized characters.

So, who are your favorite Persona 3 characters?

I thought most of the cast was pretty great. Junpei was great "buddy" character, who worked a bit better than Yosuke from P4 IMO. Mitsuru was the best romantic link, and it played out better than Yukari's (ugh, Yukari). While it's cool to hate on Aigis, I think she's awesome. Her and Metis both have amazing designs.

But Persona 3 has perhaps my favorite character from the series: Elizabeth. The Elizabeth dates in P3 FES are golden. When you hear what happens to her after the events of the game from her sister Margaret in P4, it only makes her more amazing. I was super sad when Elizabeth didn't show up as a playable character in Mayonaka Arena.

I really like all the characters in this game, but my favorites are Mitsuru, Akihiko, and Fuuka. A lot of the NPCs are amazing too, Chidori for example.

The main character's my favorite. Other than him, it's Chihiro and maybe Takaya.

I didn't like Junpei very much until The Answer. He always came off as a jealous jerk who always wanted to be the leader and was passive aggressive a lot of the time when he spoke to the protagonist.

Aigis is neat too, though I can't help but hate Fuuka because her voiceacting is teeeeeeeeeeeeeerrible.

EDIT: Maiko (the little girl at the shrine) is also awesome.

I like most of the characters in Persona 3. I think the cast in Persona 4 was better written and more likable overall, but 3 had a very different tone that I appreciated. They weren't all super-best-friends who were just happy to be alive. They all had their problems, and their issues with each other. Junpei is easily my favorite, but as much as people like to hate on Yukari, I actually think she's a pretty good character. Mitsuru and Aigis I always just find kind of uninteresting. Fuuka's VA and design kinda made me not like her. And Fuck Ken, seriously. Akihiko and Shinjiro are badasses.

As far as Social Links go..again I thought they were way better in Persona 4 but I look back fondly on the Dying Young Man, Kenji, Kazushi, and the Monk. Bebe is the worst....

Yuko, Kazushi and Fuuka were my favourites. Also, I know he's only in P3P but I liked talking with Vincent from Catherine at the night club all the time even though his dialogue rarely changed.

Man I wish there was an option to challenge Junpei to a fight whenever he starts being a dick to you, I really wanted to put that punk in his place.

I didn't find the main cast to be as likable as the Persona 4 crew, but I really liked a lot of the social link characters (Hideotoshi, "Maya" and Bebe off the top of my head).

I ended up rolling with the seniors and Koromaru for combat, seemed like the dickish kind of move my MC would make.

I like Elizabeth she's proably my favorite her clueless attitude its so funny , from the SEES Mitsuru was probably the most likable she wasn't a bitch (Yukari) or boring (Fuuka) or annoying (Akihiko) or a Jerk (Jumpei) so It'd be K-dog and Shinjiro , Aigis was ok she had some great "Im a robot so Im gonna say something awkard to you humans" , from the social links the magician Arcana guy (can't remember his name) he was funny sometimes ... I don't know most of the social links for the Male protagonist were a bunch of Jerks (Nozomi , Sports guy) and the female ones where most of the SEES.

Ok final picks the stalker couple and Mituru's secret lesbian lover those are my favorite characters.

Most people say that, well if they have played "The Answer". Its safe to say she goes off the deep end just a little in that.

Her saving grace is she does have that brilliant moment on the recordings where you catch her impersonating the other members of the team (In FES)

@Cloudenvy: I hear that a lot, but I never minded it. But maybe that's because I played it well after the fact, I never really had any expectation or opinion of it beforehand. The actual dungeons were insanely cheap I will concede, but the character moments (the very few that were sprinkled in between) I enjoyed. The final battles were really good too.

I know its an odd stance to take I know, but I've expressed it here in the past.

Junpei. I like his attitude toward that emo wrist cutting girl.

Mitsuru, Aigis and Chihiro were the best in general.

My least favourite characters were easily Yukari, Fuuka and Ken, in that order. I hated Yukari (she's everything in a girl that I don't like); Fuuka's voice and personality is a complete mess; I hated Ken from the get-go and...

I actually effed up Ken's S-Link at the last second without realizing it. I kinda wish I hadn't; I really want to know how far that shit gets. I understand it and the reason you needed Courage to talk to him were both edited for the US release.

Persona 4's had a better cast but Persona 3 was very close. Both had a great cast of characters, I'd even say they were better written than ME's cast... that is if Mordin didn't exist. :P

But Junpei is my favorite too, along with Akihiko and Shinjiro.

I liked Shinjiro and Akihiko, especially playing the female protagonist as you got to know more about them. My least favourite would be Aigis.

*Edit: This thread makes me want to play Persona 3 and 4 again... fuck.

Mitsuru is my favorite. Shame that her S. Link starts so late in the game. I was unable to max it.

Yukari was ok, i have played this again recently cause of cool computer wizardry, Aigis was okay as well, i need to start answer at some point though

Yeah I missed it too :/ Should've talked to her more even when she didn't have the "Hey, talk to me!"-icon above her head.

Mitsuru together with Aigis are definitely my favorites.

For anyone who likes Mitsuru, in FES, spend time with her social link again after maxing it out. Best SL in the series.

The one S. Link i loved was Mitsuru's . Well worth the Academics buffing.

I liked Yukari in P3 but she was a bitch in FES, so I am going to say Aigis and Chihiro especially since she turned up in P4. Chihiro was my first love interest and the first Social Link I completed.

So my answers are Mitsuru, Aigis and Chihiro, too.

I thought Yukari was great, in the sense that her character was the most believable, especially toward the end of The Answer. Other than that, I liked Akinari(Sun S.Link) too, oh and Koromaru definitely.

I'm really mad that I didn't really know what I was doing when I played through P3P, as it was my first Persona game. I didn't really go after characters and Social Links that would have been better. I'd have to say that Junpei was my favorite character because I got to watch him mature and become more of a man as the game went on. NPC-wise, I really liked Chihiro and was really happy to see her return in P4 as a more confident person. One thing that really bums me out is that I want to play FES mainly for the story content, but since I played P3 on the PSP, I can't carry any social links over to The Answer (preventing me from seeing any of the cool story extras). Is it still worth it to play through The Answer without any social links carrying over?

I'm fairly certain that nothing in The Journey carries over to The Answer. You get the same experience out of The Answer irregardless of whether or not you have first completed The Journey.

The Main Character is my favorite in the Persona series, even in history. He's so freaking awesome.. Main Character (Minato Arisato) but besides him, Junpei pissed me off throughout the game because he was acting more like Saltpei. But Junpei is my bro.

Yukari and Aigis. If i could pick MC's then Minako Arisato (the cannon name for the fem protag) seems pretty cool too
