RULES

• Discord is mandatory for communication during the tournament.
• Tournament will be double elimination.
• Matches will be FT2, 3 Rounds.
• Winners/Losers/Grand Finals will be FT3, 3 Rounds.
• The Player coming from losers finals into grand finals will have to Win two first to three sets to win the tournament.
• Players who haven't shown up in 10 minutes after tournament start will be disqualified.
• Running into disconnects or other problems mid match? The person responsible will lose the round.
• Bad connection with your opponent? Try playing on The Grid stage, it might help.
• The Skies of Honor and Kanzuki Beach stages are not allowed.
• Try not to mention the connection quality during or after matches. We all know SFV's got some problems with network stability, no need to diminish someone elses victory, intentional or not.

POINT ALLOCATION

FT10 matches:

Once you've participated in at least 3 weekly tournaments you will be eligible to challenge people to FT10s.

The idea here is that you will get the chance to play a FT10 match against all eligible tournament participants before the season is over.

You can do it whenever you want, just report the results to me and ill update the points sheet and try to record the archived matches.

Every won match in the FT10 will give you 1 point.

First tournament of the month:

• 1st: 10 points.
• 2nd: 8 points.
• 3rd: 6 points.
• Participants: 4 points.

Rest of the month:

• 1st: 8 points.
• 2nd: 4 points.
• 3rd: 2 points.
• Participants: 1 point.

Hey all, quick question as this is the first time I'm trying one of these out: when the tournament starts, how does it actually work? Are we sending private match invites to who we're playing against?

If I missed where this is explained, sorry!

@nickhead:

Often tournaments are streamed, and so players will group in lobbies to play their matches so the streamers / commentary can follow more easily.

In cases where they are not streamed, it is looser, and players may have private matches, or still use lobbies (so they can watch each other).

Don't worry about it too much! Just be chilling in the discord near start time and @saft will take care of you. All the player to player communication happens there.

@geraltitude got you covered! If you don't want to be streamed though, feel free to make private lobby and invite your opponents. Being on stream certianly is not mandatory in any way. I usually send out @here's 15 or 30 minutes before the tournament goes live on discord. So if you're online then you should get a notification.
