It happened with Pikmin 3, why wouldn't it happen with Mario? https://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/54559/pikmin-3-dlc-delisted-from-wii-u-eshop-following-deluxe-announcement

So if you would be sad if these games got removed from the Wii U eShop then act quickly and buy them while you can. Note that the Wii versions require Wii Remote and nun-chuck.

This concerns:

It might also concern:

  • Any game in the Super Mario All-stars Collection on SNES. Including mario bros 1, 2, lost levels, 3 and world. (get the GBA version of 3)
  • Super Mario Galaxy 2? Who knows?

Think they also did that with donkey kong.

So yeah. Those will be off the eshop the moment nintendo remembers where they put the sticky note with the wii u storefront password

It's certainly some fair concern to have. One hope that maybe they don't delist those is because of the other oddity of even the digital edition of 3D All-Stars is only available for a limited time. It would suck if they delisted the shop versions because they're available for the Switch via 3D All-Stars only for 3D All-Stars to get delisted next April because ???
