Made a pirate-themed level with a boss that "chases" you through the sub-world.
FWH-FD9-1MG -- Rumble below deck
Made another short level which is probably easier then the last one, but I wanted to get something done before I tried something longer.
T30-FNY-F6G: Cast of Glee on a corn tortilla
I was hoping that if I finished the story mode I would have unlocked the "Finish with a stone" level requirement, but it was not to be.
Just finished another one today. Pretty proud of it.

Not difficult at all. Just fun with lots of switches and belts!
Alright, I tried a few more. Here are my reviews. (Not writing reviews of the ones that I couldn't beat or were too annoying.)
Super Mario Pro Skater

Iit was pretty good! It's about as close as you could get to THPS in Mario Maker. Nice job finding the right theme, sound effects, etc. Actual gameplay was pretty frustrating at first as I didn't know how to properly bounce on things. Turns out you have to hold the jump button a split-second before landing. (How I played so much Mario without knowing this, I don't know.) Once I figure that out it was pretty easy and fun.

This was okay. I liked all the details on the ship like the crow's nest and the rudder (although, do those things go together?) Some of the hooks were annoying because you have to wait until they are aligned properly on the tracks. The interior seemed huge for what was in it - I feel like I skipped over a lot of details. But I like the idea of the boss that chases you.

T30-FNY-F6G: Cast of Glee on a corn tortilla
This was very short and not too difficult once I remembered how to properly jump on notes. The little "minigame" with the poison mushrooms on tracks was cute. I have no clue what the title means.
WLW-RS4-8MF -My first MM level ever. Not very long, only a few tricks and traps, very obviously made by a beginner though lol.
17X-KCV-TRF my second MM level ever. I really enjoyed making this one. I think there's just enough enemies and puzzles to solve before its over. Moderately Difficult.
Hey all, picked this up yesterday anyone want to give my levels a go? Some of them have some bullshit to them but follow basic Mario logic to secret boxes and they’re easy enough.

I made my first Super Mario Maker 2 level!
It's called Goomba Factory Tour, and it's as it sounds: Mario takes a tour of the local Goomba factory. If you decide to check it out, please be sure to put on your hard hat before entering the factory.
Course ID: WGM-G5G-HGF
It's a Super Mario World level (and so yes, I'm aware they are "galoombas", but I like the word "goomba" more), that is fairly traditional in style, with moderate difficulty and the most minor of puzzling. I don't think it will give the average player too much challenge, but I imagine it'll take a few attempts to get the hang of everything. There is a checkpoint before the hardest bit.
If you play it, please let me know, and I'd be happy to reciprocate.
Here are my first 3 levels; I have no idea really if they're any good, but I enjoyed making them at least...
DCH-PXB-QRG
The Vine High Coin Climb - this one's fairly straightforward, just climb the vines and get 50 coins to finish.
P5S-255-CVG
Switch the Police State! - this one's pretty tough, it requires a lot of hitting on/off switches while platforming.
LTK-3DS-6DF
Down on the Pipe-side - a medium-difficulty compact puzzle level with an upside down sub-area.
Really like my second level I made. Yoshi has fallen down the well and you need to go down and save him. I think it’s a cool and fair vertical level. Let me know what you think!

Took me a dozen or so tries but I got it, nice level!
"I Got 5 On It": 48S-3FK-48G
I made it and cleared it in less than an hour while watching today's stream. It's a lot friendlier than my first two. Probably my favourite creation so far.
The Course ID is DNG-03R-41G and the title is Welcome to the Goomba Factory.
Took me a little over an hour to beat it for upload, but I don't think it's too hard actually? I think if you're "good" at Mario, you'll probably think it's fun but not that hard? Maybe?
The level consists of four completely different sub-levels. The narrative is that Mario is liberating Bowser's Goomba Factory. The four areas are: Lobby, Processing, Disposal, and Management. Get through them and you'll have to beat the General Manager to finish the level!
I was inspired by Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee in particular. I thought of the Goombas as similar to Mudokons from that game. I wanted to explain where the Goombas come from and thought of how Mario might actually strategically weaken Bowser in a real war.
I hope you will try it! I actually created it mainly hoping Giant Bomb community members would give it a shot.
(Excited to try the ones that have been posted--y'all are making a ton of levels!)
Hey folks! I made a bunch of MM1 levels and psyched to be putting out some SMM2 levels! Here are my first four.
Blinking Bonanza: HJC-8WK-4FF
Its a pretty straightforward level with blinking blocks and some tricky wall jumping at at the end. 3/5 difficulty
Silly Switches: H6B-630-DKG
Switches and cannonballs and some shell puzzles! 2.5/5 difficulty
Bouncey, Pipey, Spikey: QYX-NG6-BYG
Slight exploration based level that turns to bounce pad precision in the second half. 2/5
The Terrifying Trial: BTY-QK3-64G
Very challenging level but with no bullshit. Multiple mechanics. 4.5/5 difficulty
Hope you try them out! I'm gonna be recording myself playing and analyzing the community's levels and uploading it to youtube if anyone is interested. <3
42C-54D-B0G: Please Don’t Go Down The Pipes. “A simple course. Just don’t go down the pipes. Trust me”
I wanted to create a pretty standard Mario level. There’s plenty of power ups, nothing is devoted to chance, and there’s no gotcha moments. My first SMM2 level was a hair harder than I intended and wanted something significantly easier. Hope y’all enjoy! (PS. I wouldn’t go down the pipes. You’ll probably have a better time if you don’t go down into the sub-world)
