I've got a few I'd like to share. They're all Underground themed (which is mostly a coincidence)

First is a gimmick course called Patience: 2E55-0000-0018-9A40

This is Patience & Timing, a refinement of Patience into a proper level. I like comparing these two as it demonstrates how powerful the rapid prototyping is - I tuned the gameplay in P&T from Patience bit-by-bit by hopping in and out to create a better flow and more and more varied elements: F1AF-0000-0032-143D

Those two are both New Super Mario Bros. Levels. I know a lot of people don't have the severance for that era, but having grown up on PlayStation the NSMB series were the first Mario games I really played a lot. I 100%'d the original on all three save slots. This next one though is a classic Super Mario Bros. level - I have a lot of reverence for the original as well, of the classic styles this is the one I'm most familiar with.

This is 1-2 Dreamin', and it's basically my attempt at a classic SMB1 Underground level (Though the name is possibly misleading as it doesn't feature the Pipe entry & exit from the actual 1-2): D2BD-0000-0032-1D4A

My new level: Wuthering Heights: 3D01-0000-0032-8EAF

I just unlocked the underwater stuff, but I hate water levels, so instead I made one about jumping around on tall platforms. Nothing fancy, but I kinda like it.

A boss rush level I made. It's not the greatest, but it might give some ideas if you are struggling to find ways to incorporate boss fights into your levels.

Thanks dude! I spent like, 4 hours on it. It was really tough trying to make that many "rooms" work within only two workspaces. At one point, I reached the limit for placing ground tiles and had to erase a bunch. If you download the level, you can open it in the editor and look at the mess it truly is.

@waluigi: That was pretty awesome.....except HOW MANY FUCKING TIMES AM I GOING TO FALL FOR THE SAME FUCKING GHOSTS COMING OUT OF THE SAME FUCKING PIPES

Also my idiot self kept kicking the p block off the platform and I kept having to do redo that part lol.

Oh man, that sucks about the P block. I thought I took everything into consideration and put in fail-safes for every section, but I guess I missed something with that part. Thanks for playing it!

My 6th stage is out! It's called Skull Glide Ride and focuses on gliding across long distances on a raft of skulls. It's pretty fun. There's also goombas and hammer bros about, watch out! I suggest throwing the goombas at stuff.

I like level-ass-levels. Gimmicks are neat and all, but I like the idea of a level you might conceivably see in an actual Mario game.


"Into the Canyon"

I wanted to use verticality to superficially extend the level's duration, and "the descent into a hellscape" came to mind, so I made it a castle course. Then I realized this game doesn't have checkpoints.
I tried not to make it too rough.

You are free to add Levels yourself, but please don't abuse this power.

Also, i'd like to say that looking up levels here is preferable to the "100 Mario Challenge" that spits out a lot of garbage people made. So, good work everyone!

I would like to suggest maybe posting one or two stages in the spreadsheet (your best/favorite to make), and then if anyone finds that stage fun, 'Follow' that user in the game. It would help cut down the spreadsheet and make it manageable for duders to see new stages instead of having to enter the codes.

I've been trying to make levels that could have existed in the original Super Mario Bros., but dense with alternate paths, fail saves, and optional areas. Haven't unlocked later tools yet, but I think the limitations have actually forced me to be more creative trying to make well-rounded levels.

If someone could try this out for me and let me know how difficult they thought it was I would appreciate it. I thought I had nailed this down to a medium-hard difficulty level, but the clear rate is abysmal so far. Its a fairly short and simple conveyor belt platforming level, no hidden tricky nonsense or anything.

Bottom or the top

It's a NSMBU level. I started making a level with a basic idea in mind as soon as I opened the game for the first time, and before I knew it, 3 and a half hours had passed and it was 2am. Also, it only contains day 1 and 2 stuff, as that's all I had unlocked. I spent some more hours yesterday finishing it, so here it is.

Nothing too fancy, but it's fairly difficult. The idea I had was for a level with two routes: a top route that's quick and relatively free of stuff that kills you, but made up of precise long jumps, and a bottom route that's much longer, and filled with enemies and dangerous things. Missing a top route jump sets you back down to the treacherous bottom route.

I kind of couldn't shake my initial compulsion to fill as much real estate as possible with STUFF, so it came out sort of jam-packed. Also, a couple friends who played through it just showed me some ways to circumvent some of the design that I painstakingly tried to make uncircumventable. Doesn't help that I COMPLETELY forgot you could bounce off spikes and piranhas safely with the spin jump in NSMBU. Nevertheless, I like how it turned out and enjoy playing it, and am curious to see if anyone else does. Star it if you like it. I might revise it in a week or so, once I have all the tools.

@thewadebrigade: The third jump, the one from the ice blocks to the moving platform, is really tight, annoyingly so in my opinion. Just making that one jump easier would help a lot. I would also recommend having the first jumps not be deaths if failed but rather a run back or something, I find people tend to have more patients when it comes to running back instead of restarting the level, even if it is right at the start. And although I personally find them really enjoyable and fun, short jumps seem to be hard for most people to reliably do.

I liked the level overall, you should expand on the concept of jumping from a conveyor belt to an ice platform !

@echopheo Played your airship level, it was great! Liked the power up choice and placement especially. The last part with the makeshift boss battle, complete with boss music and everything, was really fun and luckily not too hard or over stuffed with enemies, felt like a reward at the end.

I'm working on a Super Meat Boy inspired level called Super Meat Bros. Lots of wall hanging jumps and avoiding saw blades. If anything this is more of a proof of concept. If you guys like it I'll go back, spruce it up a little, and maybe add some more jumps. Let me know what you think!

I made my first castle level today. It's moderately difficult, but there's a few tools scattered throughout the level which can make it trivial to complete. Took a LOOOONG time to set up the upper half of the level to my liking.
