Final Smash Bros. Direct, Bayonetta and Corin announced - Update: Out 2/3/16

I'm totally alright with there being 6 Fire Emblem characters in Smash Bros, but of course I'd say that. Bayonetta is also an inspired choice.

It was funny seeing twitch chat cry OP at Bayonetta's moves. Which she probably is! She seems ridiculously mobile. I'm glad I don't play competitively, she looks fun as hell, can't wait.

Was hoping for more Splatoon representation but at least that will be a big draw for the next Smash game.

I have no problem with this because I am an adult. But it's an odd choice given that it's a kid friendly game.

Bayonetta is awesome and I think it's cool that she is getting added into the game. Maybe this will increase her exposure and get some more Bayonetta 2 copies moved on the Wii U.

For me personally, I was done with Smash 4 a couple of days after I got it and I have no desire to pick it back up. If I want to play as Bayonetta I'll play Bayonetta. But I hope Smash fans are hyped.

Alright, that last part was a little uncalled for, but my point still stands that trolls generally don't care about thinking about anything other than trolling someone, so it's likely someone will write me up for what I said. However, I did not say this to insult internet users in general. The insult was meant for the next person who would troll me, and a lot worse than that D&D comment, so I took the initiative to troll trolling in general. I apologize for any unintentional offense, but I figured I should let any anger out of my system before the reason I was angry was officially going to happen, and that reason was a trollish post that would really piss me off.

Anyway, think what you want about Bayonetta. But I was at least hoping someone would have something other than ignoring the childlike aspects of Nintendo and the highly rated R/M aspects of Bayonetta.

Adding Corrin is a real classic Smash move, given that when Marth was added there was similarly no chance that non-Japanese would be familiar with the character (yet).

Speaking of which, man, the balls it must've taken to think "Yeah, let's include Lucas in Smash Bros. Brawl, even though we have no intention of releasing Mother 3 in any territory outside of Japan."

I can't believe they're adding another Anime Pretty Boy, let alone another Fire Emblem Character. Fire Emblem now has more reps than Zelda does, it's absurd. Sakurai's just letting everyone know one last time "I don't give a single fuck what you want."

Bayonetta's a really solid choice though, in fact she's one of the characters I hoped for unlockable characters on release. But man, couldn't you have cut the Anime Pretty Boy and done two fan choices? Also there's still only one fighter who was created outside of Japan.

So does anyone know if the music that plays in the direct when they show geno and the chocobo is in the game? The forest maze song from SMRPG is so good, but I have the suspicion its just to hype Geno in the direct.
