Is it true the next Blight Club is Trespasser?

Please let the boys know that the dinos spaghettify spectacularly when they are hit with a long object with a lot of mass. I was obsessed with this game and made so many cool "dino sculptures", and it would be so cool for this to be archived in video form online in some way. I have no socials, so this is my attempt to make them know.

There's a makeshift shooting range at the start of the game with a stick holding floodlights (pictured). I used this with the first enemy dino that appears in a couple of hundred feet.

It is, however, very finicky and might kill the player instead or just not work (because physics!). I used to save my game just before the enemy before doing my dark business.

The key is to hold down the mouse button to hit the dino vertically at correct speed so the stick clips inside the enemy model.

I remember Trespasser from that Next Generation issue where they listed the next big games of the industry, then they reviewed it and gave it a 2 out of 5. Perfect for Blight Club!

I would greatly support any game where one of the Blight Boys is forced to wear a giant inflatable T-Rex outfit.

They should definitely be aware of spaghettification, as I know Grubb is a big fan of it. They have been posting a screenshot referencing a "fan patch" so it actually runs though, so don't get your hopes too high.

I agree - I was always bummed at the end of the Jurassic Lark series with Patrick and Ryan when they got to Trespasser, the game crashed in the first 5 minutes, and they never return to it

I never comment on these types of posts but this game would be an incredible candidate. I love how ambitious this game was

Really want a remake of it on consoles.

I played through it recently. The game is way more interesting when you understand the context of what they were trying to accomplish at the time. At the execution level, the game is trash. I had a friend narrate the BTS interviews while I was playing it so the game felt like I was going through a museum of game development. It's not too difficult of a game, so Blight Club can probably knock it out in a few episodes. I hope the boys give good commentary, it's all pretty neat!

Well, the Blight Club boys did it. They spared no expense on the dino outfit and the engineering required to get this game working on modern hardware, and there is now more Trespasser content on the site.

I had this game back in the day, even then I recognized that it was not a good game, but I genuinely had good moments with it. I was a little surprised at how easily Jeff made his way through the island, seems like the raptors didn't really care to chase him if he didn't walk directly into their teeth. What we learned from the movies was that you probably shouldn't be able to outrun a raptor so easily. After just this first episode he must be pretty close to where I quit on this game. Anyway looking forward to seeing how it ends since I never got that far.

I hope we get to see Jeff bludgeon a raptor to death in the next episode.

Blight Club has filled the void that the old Game Informer Super Replays of old used to occupy.

And I'm loving every second of it.
