today i learned Alex has a la parka mask which is kinda awesome.

i just watched raw and i am not liking the idea of Danial Bryan being aligned with the McMahons. this is because i think i know how this is going to go

• Danial will get a make over by Stephanie and HHH which may involve a shave and a suit
• Vince will make promos saying that john is washed up and not bigger than the company where Danial and HHH will defend him if john comes out to retaliate
• Vince will have brad Maddox put john cena in increasingly destructive matches (table match this week ladder next week last man standing after something like that)
• John cena will be the under dog going into a match against fucking Danial Bryan. don't get me wrong i love Danial Bryan but he should be the scrappy fighter when put against the biggest guy in the company when he wins the title it should be like rocky everyone on there feet as the little man overcomes all the odds but its not its going to be because of Vince its going to be because cena gets screwed ruining the best feel good wrestling moment since christian winning the whc.

I'm very disappointed that this isn't called the "The Sports Entertainment Thread".

What is going to happen is that Cena vs. Bryan is an awesome match, and Orton will fuck it up and become the new corporate champion.

What bothers me about Summerslam is I have been getting a local promo for an upcoming WWE live event in September that spoils two matches.

Champion vs Champion, Cena vs Del Rio.

Cards are subject to change and those commercials only go with who the current champions are

It has no effect on their planning

@gorillamopena: I agree completely but usually that happens less than half the time considering most people buy tickets based on match ups. I had an advert for CM punk as champion right before Hell in a Cell 2012, only to be guaranteed a "rematch" against Ryback at the event two months prior.

4rlz, turning Bryan now would be equivalent to WCW turning Goldberg heel - it would in no way benefit Cena or Bryan and would get the kind of heat they don't want from the crowd. Corporate makes some pretty boneheaded moves a lot of times, but this would be straight suicide.

Trips and Steph will try their corporate makeover things; Bryan will reject it; suddenly everyone in corporate is behind heel Orton (arguably JBL's already got the ball rolling by really leaning into his Orton as the model for the perfect Superstar talking point as of late) and he cashes in his briefcase for the belt. It's the most obvious story to be sure, but it's the right move.

@turboman: I have had it happen quite a few times before, I have my money on Cena (Daniel Bryan is a work horse, he deserves a push.) considering this whole feud exists due to the promotion of the E "Dvas" television show.

I mean this whole feud doesn't really exist for that. That whole season is already filmed, the popularity of Bryan on the rise constantly and Punk being occupied with Lesnar got us here.

God, this is the greatest thing ever. The guy who attacked Randy Orton was going into business for himself and expected it could've made him a huge star. He was 20 and a trained kick boxer.

The fan who attacked Randy Orton yesterday at a wrestling show in Capetown, South Africa was identified as 20-year-old Tshepo Sekhabi.

Sekhabi, who called himself, "Jozi, the wrestling machine," was from Johannesburg, where he had quit his job in order to attend yesterday's show, and attacked Orton with the hope it would lead to him becoming a big wrestling star.

Instead, he got a black eye, has been banned from the Grand West Casino in Capetown, where the show took place, and may have charges filed against him according to an article on the www.enca.com web site in South Africa.

The WWE has claimed that Orton is considering pressing charges for the attack which left him with a sore groin from an uppercut between the legs. Orton wasn't seriously injured and worked with Wade Barrett on the recently completed show today.

Sekhabi, who trains as a kickboxer, admitted quitting his job as an administrative clerk this week, admitted the attack was premeditated.

"I just don't like Randy Orton," he said. "This was an opporutnity for me, so I got up there and made a name for myself."

Is it bad that I am going to the house show in Boston with the hope they will put Survivor Series tickets on sale after the show and I can get them without all the stupid ticketmaster fees?? That is basically the only reason...although the Wyatts will be there...should be fun to see live.

I'd say if the local advertisements actually line up with the match outcomes, its purely coincidental and not a sign of them actually spoiling their PPVs. With the amount of dirtsheets out there and how fast they spread any and all info, it would be crazy for WWE to openly spoil their own PPVs.

I mean after they go on sale I'm pretty sure you can physically buy tickets at the TD Garden.

Wrestlemania buyrate: 1,039,000 down 200,000 buys from last year's WM. I guess twice in a lifetime wasn't as big of a draw, and to be honest I'm sure it wouldn't have cracked a million if the CM Punk vs. Undertaker build up wasn't so good.

I guess I'm not really looking for spoilers since this won't air until 8 pm here, but do they actually say he is leaving? Other people still manage to do double duty on both shows

Charlotte is too good to be this dipsy bikini clad character. Not saying she shouldn't be a babyface, but her in ring style and stature just makes all the kiss blowing and prancing look hella awkward.

Also, I'm glad it seems so far Bray is leaving The Rolling Stones singing on NXT. Hated it in Fallen, and still think it's corny here.

• Charolotte is still looking really good.
• Tyler Breeze has left the building.
• Bray Wyatt's farewell speech was AMAZING. Dude is fucking god at Full Sail and this is how every crowd everywhere should be treating him. It's incredible.
• Corey Graves vs. Scott Dawson was a fart noise of a match BUT then the motherfucking Shield shows up and Ambrose vs. Neville is going to be boss as hell.
• Even the Bo Dallas match was good by virtue of it involving Sami Zayn and Antonio Cesaro.
• Also, just a general note, the NXT crowd is the best crowd in wrestling. They're smart enough to know what's good (Wyatt, Zayn, Breeze) while rejecting what's bad (Bo) but not smarky enough to be little pricks about everything and chant stupid shit like "Husky Harris." I love them. And I love NXT.
