The Giant Bomb Forza Horizon 2 Car Club

Jeff created a club. When you're given the opportunity to join a club in-game (after the first day of road trips), search for Giant Bomb. Join that. It's open, if there's space. If there isn't space, try your luck another time, as people do quit, or if you think you can react quickly, message PsEG on Twitter and hope he's around. Ideal? No. The best methods? Currently.

This post will change again if things get any more or less complicated.

Seems like a good time to unlock this thread. My gamertag is Peace Egg, so if you receive a club invite, it'll probably be coming from that name.

Any questions on the club can go in this thread, as well! That was probably obvious at this point, but just in case.

So, can anyone join this club? I'll be getting Horizons 2 on launch (Japan). It would be great to be part of a group that speak English.

Yep! Just have to be a Giant Bomb member (that isn't banned, since you have to be able to post in this thread) and you're good to join.

Absolutely loved the first hour of the game. The first Forza Horizon is in the running for my favorite racing game ever (and I'm a geezer) and so far the second seems to be in the same spirit with enough changed that it doesn't feel like an expansion pack (not to mention those very nice XBONE graphics.)

Super stoked this game unlocked a little early and I got to get in a few races before bed. I'd love to see a larger variety of names for these AI guys.

Is Jeff's club [BOMB]? Either way, I'll look into the whole deal after work today. There is a chance that invite-only clubs may be stupidly busted anyways, from my experiences this morning, and if Jeff's club is public, there would be no need for a thread like this.

Couldn't get started last night as the game was "unavailable" for me until this morning. Game sure is a looker, when the rain started for the first time I was pretty impressed.

...we're just going to go with what Jeff made for now. It might run out of room, since it's freely open to join, but as of this posting invite-only car clubs are busted as far as I can tell. I have yet to find a single functional screen that allows for inviting by specifically picking names on a friends list or by gamertag, both of which you think would be standards features by now, but apparently not.

INSTEAD: Once you're done with the first road trip (three championships), you'll be given a chance to join a car club. Search for Giant Bomb. Jeff/GiantBombing's club will appear. Join in.

Thanks, and I'm terribly sorry about the confusion. This is what happens when I rush through the opening stages of a game in the latest night/earliest morning. Details were missed on my part.

Hah now I have to hurry and play the game a bunch so that I can get to the point where I can join the club! But I'm trying to watch MGScanlon! LIFE IS SO TOUGH! To clarify you need to do the first 3 championships, like Trace said, not just 3 races. So it is a good hour+ before you unlock the option. See you folks on the road later!

Managed to join up. I love this game but so far the two races vs non cars have been my least favorite parts. That last mission before the trip back where you unlock clubs is just rough. That car they give you is terrible after using any of the rally cars.

Now our drivatars can all mingle in a club like atmosphere.
