    Love it loads, easy achievements

    Love it, love it, love it. 

     
    I am a big fan of Forza 1. Forza 2 was good. but I didn't play it much. And this puppy rocks. 

    Looks? Cor blimey guvner. The cars, the tracks, the landscape all a beauty to behold. And not a frame drop in sight. Every detail has improved graphically. Not only in game, but each menu is crisp, bright and easy on the eye.  Each car shines brightly with a high polish, may be a touch to brightly. But then after the 1st corner (the way I drive) the scratches and dent start to appear.  

     Game play? We again this has improved of the last version. I can actually win races, for me thats a big thing. And thats not just in easy mode. As Geof said in his review you can taylor each skill setting to suit your needs. Currently I set the drive line off, no auto brakes, no anti lock brakes, and medium AI. And I get a genuine race. The AI is very good, so expect to be pushed. And with the rewind it's now actually possible for those of us who are more casual racers to finish the game. 

    Online Store? Again, the developers have stepped things up a notch. Not only can you design decals and decal groups. You can upload them to you personal store front to sell them. As well as sell you pimped cars, your tuning settings. I can see those with artistic skills really taking this to town. 

    Achievements? On Forza 1 i have 9 out of 44. I have played Forza 3 for approx. 6hrs and I have 22 out of 50 for a total of 250G. My 1st race I got 3.

    15G for finishing the 1st race. 

    5G for making my cars jump 5 feet in the air.  

    5G for driving in dash board view. 

    But you get loads for really easy things. Like:- 
     
    10G Shutterbug for taking a photo

    10G Curator  upload a photo to XBLA 

    10G Demon for driving at 200mph (bugatti veron, Nurbergring in freeplay) 

    10G Director for making a movie (save a replay, create a movie in replay menu then save it.) 

    10G for uploading the movie (in profile) 

    10G Buyer for buying something in online store. 

    10G Grease Monkey for uploading a tuning setting. 
     
    I will right mine down and add them all later.

    Great game for all racers.

      The Forza series has taken pride in being one of the most technically advanced racers on the market. It's hard to argue with that fact when one of the most talked about features of this sequel is something like tire deformation & flex. Such features may irrelevant to the layman but it leaves the 'gearheads' salivating. Perhaps the greatest feature to the rest of us who don't know our axles from our elbows is the added focus on accessibility. While Forza 3 will never be mistaken for a classic...

        Can I tell you a secret? ... ... I love car porn. I absolutely love it. I live in a huge city so my experience with driving actual cars is, admittedly, limited, but I adore cars. They’re the ultimate testament to engineering, design, and power. They blend sophisticated engineering, scientific precision, and sleek kinetic design, with raw sex appeal and danger.  I just eat car culture up.
