I've been waiting for weeks. I do appreciate he hasn't rushed out his review like [nearly] everybody else but this is becoming weird.

He went pretty hard on the game in a previous podcast and that made me even more eager to read the review. Everybody seems fixated on the microDLC but Jeff mentioned things more related to the core of the game and I really want to see how it all sums up in a review. Give us what you promised, Jeff!

Forza 5 is the best racing game on the new consoles. But, it isn't the best racing game. 3/5

It's probably behind a microtransaction paywall.

It's definitely the best (only) sort of sim racer, but the bad taste from microtransactions and pretty stale gameplay (well, that's what I think) make it get no love from me. I'd much rather play NFS Rivals.

My guess is it's in the Phantom Zone with the Dance Central 3 review.

I'd agree with 3/5. The physics and racing are still solid. The tracks are sparse, the online features chopped, the progression grindy, the whole thing seems tailored for maximum microtransactions.

Giant Bomb isn't going to review every game. Even taking them a while to get to stuff like AC IV. Not that I'm complaining, I'm cool with it. I like Giant Bomb's approach over a day 1 review score system.

This game is my most disappointing game of 2013 for all the reason listed above. Here is hoping GT 6 doesn't fall under the same micro-transaction trappings (although the initial buzz is that it will). I really hate the trend of micro-transactions for a premium $60 game.
