    Fossil Hunters is a game about spelunking underground caverns in search of fossils, which you connect together to create custom dinosaurs. The game is playable with 1-4 players (local) and focuses mostly on exploration & building.

    The game relies heavily on exploration and building across 30 unique and persistent levels. Players discover new fossil pieces, items, creatures, and traps as they go deeper underground.

    Launched originally on PC/Mac in February 2018, Fossil Hunters is now beginning to launch on consoles, starting with Nintendo Switch on June 28.

    History

    • It is the first major title from Reptoid Games, a Toronto-based indie game developer
    • It was the winner of Ubisoft's Indie Series Grand Prize in 2017
    • It enjoyed a successful Kickstarter in September 2017, raising ~$36k from 745 backers
