Frank O'Connor, affectionately known by fans as "Frankie", was the former content manager for Bungie Studios. O'Connor was the primary writer of the Bungie update (along with Luke Smith or "Lukems") as well as the creator of comedic Master Chief parody "Mister Chief". On May 16 2008 he announced his departure from Bungie to work at Microsoft on future Halo content.

    Background

Born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland. As a child and teen Frankie was obsessed with video games playing: Pong, 2600, Intellivision, Vectrex, ColecoVision, Sinclair Spectrum, Atari 800, Commodore 64...and so on, right up until Xbox 360 in the present day.

He was able to parlay his love of video games into a career working at a number of video game publications including TOTAL! Nintendo magazine, Ultimate Future Magazine and the Official Xbox Magazine. He then made the jump to Bungie Studios as content manager.
