Anyone else experiencing problems with From Dust overheating their Xbox?
 
I was playing games all last night with no problems whatsoever, and my console has only overheated once in the past due to it flat-out being too hot in my room. Now when I play From Dust for an extended period of time my console will overheat and shut off. I can switch it on after letting it rest for about 2 minutes and it's fine and the case doesn't feel warm at all. I cleaned where my Xbox stands (vertically) and vacuumed the outside of the console in hopes of dislodging any dust  but it hasn't helped.
 
Anyone else had similar problems since playing From Dust? I've read all the info about how to avoid your Xbox overheating, but I don't think my Xbox is to blame.

From Dust wouldn't do anything to specifically heat up your console. It's just July.

@sensory: You might want to take the Xbox apart and vacuum the inside. It's not difficult to do, and it solved my overheating issues that I used to have. If you've had your console for a long time and haven't cleaned the inside, it's definitely filled with dust that will cause the overheating.

My 360 is ancient and I haven't had any problem with it...yet. I've played a good couple of hours of From Dust today as well.

It does this exact thing for me too, I thought buying the full game might fix the issue but nope, just wasted my money.  At least we know it isn't a hardware issue, because a few people on various forums are reporting this, no sign of a fix yet though.

Have you tried playing the levels without lava in them? 
Because I've heard lava is pretty hot...
