Whether he's leaving or not, I really hope the part about him staying on the last guardian is true. I just want them to finish that game so I can finally play it.

I hope the reports of his departure are greatly exaggerated.

Damn, I first saw this game in e3 2009 and had been closely following it for over 2 years now. This wasn't completely unexpected, but still quite a disappointment.

And so we have learned nothing from the "MSG 5 saga" ...

If you guys are going to turn into Destructoid I have no reason to visit here anymore.

This game will never come out.

If this is true it will be bad for Sony's exclusivity of his work. Hopefully this move is made to help complete a great game, and not just a falling-out that hinders it.

I don't want to blow your minds here but corporations tend to answer to rumors and speculations with "no comment" instead of denying them because if they did it would be obvious that no comment=it's true.

Then I informed the person pointing it out they they also made a mistake, in their internet rage, by telling him to spell check it.

Worst news ever!!! This as I finish up my HD remix of his other classics. I mean, I've only played Shadow about 20 times. Sigh, at least he will be finishing The Last Guardian.

Oh well. It's not like he's going to stop making games. Who knows, he could end up having a more freedom now in what he makes and what to sell it on.
