Is this yet another nail in the coffin for Funcom? They've licensed away the biggest reason why I've cared about this studio, the Longest Journey, next to Anarchy Online (I played that for 4 years!) which they haven't touched for almost a decade. Not even a hint of AO2. They've gone into one big project after another almost rushing to their financial downfall. How many CEOs have they lost, how many game directors have stepped down? I keep reading that they're demoting themselves to making games for kids, mobile phones and tablets, to me that's a big step down.
We might not hear much more about Funcom besides whenever Red Thread Games does something TLJ related.
