A light-gun arcade adaptation based on the action films "Rambo: First Blood Part II" and "Rambo III".

Overview

Rambo is a light-gun shooter developed and released by Sega (Company) for arcades (using PC (Platform)-based Sega Lindbergh hardware) on September 18, 2008.

A light-gun adaptation of the action film series of the same name, Rambo features re-enactments of scenes from the films Rambo: First Blood Part II and Rambo III. It also features clips from the film as cutscenes.

Multiple versions of the arcade cabinet exist, each sporting a large high-definition screen and two attached light-gun controllers (with some versions resembling sub-machine guns and others resembling assault rifles).

Gameplay

The game plays like a traditional light-gun shooter, with player shooting as much enemies as they can. Some enemies appear with a timer above their heads, and failing to shoot them after a short amount of time deals damage to the player.

Each controller has a special button with two purposes: throwing grenades and activating Rage Mode. Rage Mode can be activated after filling up the player's Rage Meter by shooting enemies, and grants temporary invincibility (with automatic reloading).
