The 22nd installment of the Train Simulator series follows both the Kurasuma Line and Kintetsu-Kyoto Line from Kyoto to Nara. It is the last in the series released for the PC.
Overview
Train Simulator Plus: Kyōto-shiei Chikatetsu Karasuma-sen & Kintetsu-Kyōto-sen (the sub-title loosely translated to "Kyōto Municipal Subway, Kurasuma Line and Kintetsu-Kyōto Line") is a train driving simulation game developed and published by Ongakukan for the PC in Japan on December 31, 2001. The 22nd installment of the overall Train Simulator series (and the fourth in the "Train Simulator Plus" sub-series) follows the Japanese railways Karasuma Line and Kintetsu-Kyōto Line from Kokusaikakan Station in Kyoto (Location) (Kurasuma Line), through Takeda Station in Kyoto, to Kintetsu Nara Station in Nara (Kintetsu-Kyōto Line). It is the final entry in the "Train Simulator Plus" sub-series and the final game in the series overall for the PC platform, with subsequent games developed instead for the PlayStation 2 (Platform), PlayStation Portable (Platform), and PlayStation 3 (Platform).
