Baby Eater

Overview

Baby Eater is a "found-codage" "Catch-Em" game done in classic 8-bit rules. It features a vampire princess who tries to save babies as they fall from the sky, while avoiding biting them when she gets hungry. It features a few power ups, power downs and environmental obstacles unique to each level. Unlike other games, Baby Eater is using the same 8-bit rules used by consoles of the period, and could theoretically be placed in a SMS or NES Rom without loss of information. Most modern retro games break the rules, and could not be played on a classic Rom due to too many colors and special effects. This game has arcade difficulty typical of the era, keeping with the 8-bit theme and charm.

To add to the charm, it's modeled after arcade style gameplay. Players start by inserting one or two quarters, the two options representing a hard and easy mode, respectively. There are also cheats and codes indicative of such classic games.

Throughout this horror filled night, Princess Procuni must traverse the landscape of Emor, catching babies as they fall from the sky toward their deaths. She must do this by dodging weapons and environmental hazards.

Thankfully Procuni is armed with a basket and cloak, granting her the ability to shield from damage, while catching multiple babies to hand to the local Priest and Nurse for safety.

It is Procuni's hope that she will be victorious, and save the next generation of Emor's people, both in her nightmare, and when she can finally awakens

Still, Procuni must live through 256 nights of horror in order to defeat the mental manipulation of the vile Queen for freedom, for her people, and for her kingdom.
