ESPN NHL 2K5
ESPN NHL 2K5 was the fifth game in the series, and featured Martin St.Louis on the cover who was a member of the 2004 Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning. He was also the winner of the Hart, Lester B. Pearson, and Art Ross Trophies that season.
ESPN NHL 2K5 is still considered by man to be one of the best games in the series, and debuted on the market at a very favorable price point of $19.99 for consumers ($29.99 in Canada). It was also the last game in the NHL 2K Series to feature the ESPN License, after Electronic Arts purchased the exclusive rights in 2005.
The game featured a number of improvements over ESPN NHL Hockey, including:

ESPN NHL 2K5 was met with very favorable reviews for its realistic gameplay, extremely well done graphics/presentation, and plethora of modes and online features.
