Gears of Beers
Gears of War 2 Review.
Graphics:5 stars
There ain’t any flaws with the new Unreal Engine, there are alot of games on the market that are using this engine but of course no one can use the engine like Epic Games well. They are the makers of the engine so that’s obvious. As a game Gears of War 2 looks really awesome and if you compare it to other games released around the same time it’s miles better in the graphics department. Excellent lightning, blood and fire effects. To compare it to the first game the number 2 has alot of more details.
Story: 4 stars
For me personally i like the story, i’m not tryin to spoil anything but it’s a better story for sure. Dom is looking for his wife maria. That part they could have left out. Every secuence about his wife makes the acting seem corny. The new angle is awesome in the story part. The game leaves a few questions for the third installment in the series.
Gameplay: 5 stars
The gameplay from Gears one were awesome, then the second one is more awesome. Better gun handling, chainsaw battles,meatshields and moveable cover. Is just a few of the updates to the gameplay. There is a lot of new gamemodes in the multiplayer department also. I want to explain Horde. Horde is a gamemode were you and four friends will stand alone against up to 50 waves of locust. This takes all the multiplayer maps and get them useful for other kinds of gameplay.
Audio: 5 stars
The audio quality is awesome is every way. Awesome new effects, new mixing and new soundtrack. When i use my surround headphones even when i’m turning of the surround effects it sounds awesome.
