So other than the Beta maps (Thrashball, Checkout, Trenches, Old Town) what other maps have been announced/confirmed? Any Classics?

It may be a little recycled but I hop that again we get the old maps from Gears of War, at least some of the favorites like Warmachine and Gridlock.

@gwilo007: I imagine they'll do something similar to the Flashback Maps scheme they had in Gears of War 2, at least I hope so anyway.

Gridlock is probably coming back, one of Epic's official video had small clips of a dark map. People basically dissected the hell out of the video and have a lot of proof of it being Gridlock.

Also, Clocktower is a map that the forums really wanted and Cliff did say we'll probably see it again. Since it never came in Gears 2, I'm almost positive it'll be in Gears 3.
