It seems like the trilogy is ending for Gears of War; meaning there's going to have to be some closure. Obviously, the Gears series has never been the greatest story teller--"MARIA"-- but do you think Epic would have it so Marcus and/or Delta Squad will die to wipe out the Locus threat? 
I honestly doubt they would kill off the entire Delta Squad because you know; nobody can kill the Cole Train, but Marcus' life seems to be nothing but sorrow, and he might take the ultimate sacrifice. In the end; do you think anybody will die, and do you even care?

Looked like Dom doesn't have much to live for in the newest trailer, if anybody's going my money would be on him.

I'm betting Dom will sacrifice himself for the greater good, etc.

Really though, there better be some deaths to seal the deal with the defeat of the Horde and all that.

Besides the new Carmine, i have a feeling Baird will die. 
 
I hope no one dies though i really like all the characters, especially Jack.

I don't think I would honestly care if anyone in that game died, and I played both 1 and 2. I guess I just find the characters to be as interesting as a bucket of glue.

Actually, I thought Maria was totally the high point of the story, and probably the most interesting aspect of the series' story so far. The stuff about Marcus' dad has always kind of bored me, and I had little interest in any of the story that was revealed in the first game. 
 
I'm not sure how it'll end, but I do suspect a sacrifice will happen. Maybe they'll all sink Jacinto and die. Maybe just one will die to save the others. I imagine it'll go one of those ways.

Predictions:
 
1. Anya will get aced leaving a heartbroken Marcus to go on a suicide mission with Dom who, as mentioned, looks impossibly world weary.
2. Dom will sacrifice himself so Marcus and Anya can survive.
 
Either way, it'll be heartbreaking.

The only way i would like the ending is if they were to all die in some climactic battle or maybe something akin to the ending to Armageddon and dom has to save everyone, that would be epic

I think seeing as the game is pretty much confirmed to be 4 player co-op... none of the playable characters will die. Or maybe all of 'em will at the end.
 
As for the other two playable characters... I'm guessing it'll be Anya and Cole.

If anyone would die I'd say it would be Baird (in terms of popularity, even though he's my favorite.)
Although if Dom died, I would be really impressed.

I don't know, but I hope it gets a good ending. This is the only game series I like on the 360 and had bought my 360 for this series.

True, but the writing will surely go in a way as if you are new to the trilogy to make it approachable if they have never played the first two. This will maybe get more people interested in the series plus may do some fan service for the faithful. "

I speculate that Marcus and Dom will have tension because of their feelings for Anya. Dom will go to kill himself to save her but I think Marcus will take the shot/fall/explosion/whatever!. oh and Baird will die in Cole's Arms. And the only way I can see a COG Locust alliance working is if a giant horde of locust lead by Cole just sprinting towards the Lambent. that would blow my mind

All I know is that there will be a Gears of War 4.

I don't like the idea of changing the character emphasis just for new players. If people haven't got into the series now, then skewing the character just for the latecomers will just turn people on EPIC if it's done badly, which is would be if it's a real sympathetic shift. "

Yeah from the looks of the trailer Dom has hit rock bottom. If anyone is going to bite the big one to save the day it will be him. Redemtion for him not being able to save his wife, and the hope that it will bring them back together. I hope they don't totally rework his character though, he was my FAV!

My guess is everyone but Marcus and Anya.
 
Imagine playing 4/5 player co-op and having each character go down one by one until at the end they're all on the ground forced to watching Marcus kill the final boss as they bleed out.

I'm guessing that Dom and Baird will "catch several hot ones". 
I'd get kinda pissed if the "new member" of Delta squad gets killed again, so I hope Anya makes it, and I don't think they'd have the guts to kill Marcus or Cole Train.

I have this feeling that several Delta members are going to die. I just hope they do it in a good way. I dunno, it's kinda weird-I'm almost hoping that some of them are going to die along the way, and Epic is gonna have the guts to do it. Cole'll probably go for "big damn heroes" sacrifice moment, Baird would die in a vehicle, and Marcus and Dom would go out together at the end in the big fight, leaving Anya and the (hopefully at least one) Carmine left among the characters to live in a Locust-free Sera.

Dom seems like the obvious choice, hoping they'll do something different though. Maybe everyone will die, Marcus last obviously.

Maybe Hoffman, and if introduces the characters from the novel then maybe Bernie.  I don't think they'll get killed off but you never know, they just might

I think Marcus will die for Dom.

Dom is tired of life and he's going to shoot himself in the head with a shotgun at one point.

Oh shit, what if they all died one-by-one in a huge finale and the last one left was Carmine. Then for the last insane minute you played as the last Carmine brother making a crazy dash for the finish-line and activate the save-the-world button.

There was 4 Carmine brother. 
 
1st Carmine was an "A" name. 
2nd was a "B" names. 
3rd will be a "C" name. ("Clay", so I've heard.) 
4th one will be a "D" name and the series will end.
