That's a pretty harsh delay. Crap. I was looking forward to it too.

That sure is some delay. Luckily I've no interest in another Gears, so this news means nothing to me in that regard. 

Not sure why anyone thought april was a good idea to release that game anyways.

Pretty sure this is the first time it has been delayed.  
 
Sucks having to wait a year but I'm expecting big things(like a final boss!) with this 3 year dev cycle.

That's a bunch of crap.  It was pushed to 2011 so it wouldn't compete with Reach, and now they want to make it their holiday title. Thanks for selling us a year old game.   

Bah, that's lame. So they'll basically be hanging on to a finished game for a few months.

So the game will be finished in time for release but they're gonna delay it by several months due to bussiness reasons? Not really surprising but still a dickish move by MS

That kinda sucks. I feel like I can wait for more Gears though.

hopefully there won't be a repeat of GoW2's MP problems when it was released.

I thought blockbuster games like these sell whenever they are released, they don't need careful planning like this. Anyways, I still "need" to play Gears of War 2 so I am not bothered by it.

Kinda sucks, but this means I won't be breaking the bank as much with all the new games in April.  Also means nothing will be competing with my Bulletstorm love.

Makes more sense to me, Halo one year, Gears of War the year after, keep that holiday season busy.

I'm glad they moved it. Heaven forbid I play more than 3 games this holiday season, my fragile consumer brain would simply implode!

I'm fine with games being delayed, I just hope this delay has nothing to do with Kinect.

They have no excuse for terrible multiplayer problems at launch with this much of a delay.

My wife is going to be pissed she is the biggest gear head I know. At least this gives us more time to save money for a new TV because she said she wants a bigger and better TV to play gears on. 

Doesn't really bother me, I've never been a huge Gears of War fan anyways. Still, getting tired of all the clusterfuck of games every fall when there's all this time throughout the rest of the year that they could release at instead of putting three games out every week. Whoever thinks releasing games on holiday season will boost their sales is an idiot. 

This is good. I have other stuff I want to get out of the way/ tackle before even taking that game on.

That's too bad, I'm really looking forward to Gears 3. Although... that's another $60 I can put towards the 3DS.

I'm sure Gears of War Clone 357-384 will come out in the mean time though, so don't worry too much.

I didn't think it was going to come out in the spring. I always saw it as a big fall release.

This is the first time its been delayed, when they announced it they gave it a release date

If you mean were done with MS, that happened a while ago. If you mean done with Reach, why would 343 have to wait until Bungie were done with their game to start their own? I think you mean done with Reach because of the 1 year development cycle comment, that's crazy to think they haven't been working on their game for at least a little while now. "

You mean... it's delayed for the first time.
 
Bulletstorm comes out in Feb people. They don't want cramp 2 games from the same Developer within 2 weeks. It's business. Gears 3 will still be coming out.

Fortunately a ton of stuff is coming out in April to keep me distracted, but its still pretty disappointing. 
It also means that all the under age players will be able to get the game soon after release and I can rely on them to ruin the online experience pretty quickly. Don't want to sound like an old person complaining but if it was released in April I would have months to play online until Christmas when all the kids get their parents to buy the game for them.
